Enough said.
Also, I mean "we" as in the people that agree with this post. Which I faced palmed when I realized you idiots couldn't see that. So get off the "you don't speak for all of us" train you smug, pedantic, douchebags. Good god, you people that comment on a status you don't agree with make my day and I realize that you must have eaten glue as a child to ever be so childish and just, just...brain dead. Go sit on a cactus.

If they brought back the old raids i could see having the primary weapons being exotics. Having exotics with burn wouldnt break the game and would limit elemental burn to only exotics. You know you want to see that exotic y3 fatebringer.
-
7 RespostasGame is easy enough most of the time, elemental primaries make engagements even easier. Sure it doesn't address their original goal of trying to make players be more diverse as much as they hoped, but it did make us use things beside raid gear only set ups.
-
1 ResponderI had a void burn wolves leash 2 that shot faster than my voc and I loved it. I farmed it for at least 2 months during HoW. That's what RNG is about for me looking for a particular weapon for a particular situation.
-
I got them I year 1 I manage fine without them in year 2
-
1 ResponderI'd like to see them again but they will need to up the difficulty on nightfall and the weekly strikes. Give us the old burn modifiers and light switch (seems like I've not seen that one for awhile?). I never considered any of the y1 fallen nightfall with arc burn easy... Though they were a lot more fun then the current petty excuse nightfall has become. While their at it, remove 3 of coins and make exotics rare again. They should be a once a week/month drop, not 5-10 a day.

If what you are saying is true, then Zhalo Supercell is over powered compared to all the other Primaries. And this post will now be looked at by Bungie and the Auto Rifle will be nerf'd yet again. I have to admit I was thinking about this the other day, I realised I had a Sniper Rifle doing Solar damage, a Sword doing Void damage and I was miss a Primary doing Arc damage. My thoughts were, Why !!! If Primaries were to be fitted with Elemental damage, what would happed to the game, will Bungie hike up the difficulty on the enemies or leave it as it is. Think about it, level 40 Guardian with a Light level of 305 and you get killed by a level 4 on Earth doing Bounties. Do you not think the game is broken enough, imagine the carnage Bungie will create, if they increase the nastiness of our enemies. Death by a level 2, I would have to think what a level 20 could do.

Not true

Zhalo Supercell.

Honestly I don't care as much as I did. It made me realize though that it didn't matter. Bungie took burns out from primaries to diversify guns but I run the same load out for PvE, unless a burn is applied. Even then Hung Jury is always in my primary slot.

10 RespostasEditado por Akron: 9/4/2016 9:48:13 AMBungie states they removed them to "diversify loadouts." But this hasn't happened. Everyone I know just uses the same primaries for PvE anyways. All primaries should drop with a random chance of void, arc or solar burn. I have 2 pages of weapons in the vault that almost never get used. If they all had random burns, I would be using a lot more of them more frequently. Bungie is dumb. The problem year 1 wasn't the burns. It was that only like 10 primaries got burns. Had everything gotten burns, people would have used more than just VoC or Fatebringer. EDIT: spelling

I'm fine. I actually don't care about elements on weapons. If they come back, cool. If they don't, well I'll keep shooting stuff with the weapons I've used all year without a problem.

4 RespostasEditado por lietenantdan: 9/3/2016 6:25:06 PMI don't miss them as much as I thought I would. Btw, more variety my ass. I use my imago loop or treads upon stars 99% of the time

1 ResponderI love how the community is like "we would like the option to...." and now its like "nah, that's stupid." You see.....having burn doesn't force you to use raid or trials weapons as primaries....but without it you really don't have a choice but to use telesto or stillpiercer for specialist and void burn. Primaries are useless during burns but you still gotta empty the entire primary clip to kill a damn dreg because you arent going to use the limited special or heavy ammo.
-
For sure I honestly used more variety of weapons in pve then than I ever have since they took them away...
-
-
True, it gave me a reason to change up my load out

36 RespostasI couldn't disagree more. Elemental primaries made most people only use Raid Weapons. All the weapons in the tower sat and gathered dust. Year 2 has shown that taking that away increased variety.
-
Well swords would be nonexistent then....

2 RespostasChange 'we' to 'I' in your title pls, ty.

Had the idea be it through different power cells or gems change the element on guns.

Editado por goldstarlestelle: 9/4/2016 6:56:43 AMI am really leaning towards no elemental primaries . I used to be yes. My opinion has changed because wep slot modifiers plus a burn make things way too easy. If it came down to a choice. I would rather have wep slot modifiers than a burn since any wep for that slot would work. Wep slot modifiers promote diversity more so than burns. But the two combined is..like I said much too easy to kill things.
