2 RespostasEditado por Orpheus49: 8/10/2016 7:25:20 PMI'm glad you talked about the state of the community and the forums, thanks for taking my suggestion into consideration Having a positive community is quite important and it can be very hurtful if toxicity is a problem Driftor posted a video about the negativety in the call of duty community and how it affects them, and that what made me ask you guys about our community, here's Driftors vid, it's may be call of duty as the topic, but alot of the same principles apply https://youtu.be/Qiie2md7rIY I tend to be quite satirical in my feedback posts, which are usually well received and give a few laughs, but when I do actually give feedback on how to add a counter to a particular weapon or tactic, it turns ugly fast I'm not big on nerfs, I usually try to suggest adding a counter or changing a mechanic before I think somethings performance stats should change, and even when I think it does need a minor nerf, I suggest compensation buffs, (Ex: snipers should flinch more but have better initial accuracy and more ammo) But then I will get people telling me how bad i am, to stop crying. I only one or two who actually debate with me and talk about a better solution, why they disagree, or what they agree with Usually my satirical posts are more well received because everyone who sees it is mutually allowed to joke around in a sense, but on my actual feed back, it's like why bother? Nobody is going to want to give proper feedback I like what ironbill had to say about the lack of emotional development and control with some users, who may have just came back from a tough loss of trials, mabye there should be more ways to promote feedback through the like system, and not the get gud scrub system Either way, great podcast. Can't wait to see what's next on the truthcast

I just want to say that I liked the song at the end, if that was you singing, nice voice

1 ResponderEditado por iDovahBear: 8/10/2016 6:35:48 PMIronBill I think it was brought up a good point. Weapon Diversity =/= Weapon Balance. He made a good point that just because it's popular, doesn't mean they should be forced off of it. This could clash with Bungie's Diversity-driven Weapon Balancing. We'll have to wait and see. I share his frustrations.

16 RespostasBump. I want to give a shout out to Carnival Law, who was my Crucible opponent several times over the weekend. His team handed my team's butt to me I believe Friday or Saturday night, but we played him a few more times over the course of the weekend in some matches which were much closer. He did great work with that Telesto!

2 RespostasGreat fun! Ironbill and Synge were outstanding. Nice editing Sols.

Firstly I agree that cause you can't stack beyond two bombs that artfact will make your armour useless but they did say that artifact would also boost your stats so it might depend on how much stats you get boosted by, secondly you can not shoulder charge forever cuase shoulder charge dissappers about 8 seconds into the run. Thirdly taking away reforge was a really bad move cuase that means we are more likely to throw away our rewards and without it it increases the grind time but taking it out has made me like some other players give up playing cuase I'm never gonna to get the gun I want.

2 RespostasGood as always, I tip my hat to you and the team🎩 I'm hoping to snag some new trials and IB gear the day of release, at least some weapons. Keep up the good work!

2 RespostasEditado por TautSkydiver0: 8/9/2016 8:50:58 PMBump. This is the first podcast I've actually been able to watch from start to finish in awhile. I've always either forgotten to watch the newer ones or never have enough time to do so. As for the podcast itself, very solid points. I couldn't agree more on the topic of great posts getting drowned by number of NERF THIS, or STOP NERFING posts. Around this time last year, I posted a concept for an exotic rocket launcher I had worked on for a long time. After a few days of it being up, I couldn't find it without going to the search bar and typing in the name because it had been completely covered by nerf posts at the time. On a less serious note though, 1:08:25 - RWG: " Some people are just intent on causing chaos..." Hmmm....
https://youtu.be/efHCdKb5UWc
Massive bump.

1 ResponderWhile I am still in the middle of listening to the podcast I wanted to point out that under the subject of "weapon diversity" that the Quartermaster (I think that is his name, Across from Shaxx) already gives out 5 weekly weapons usage bounties for kills with specific weapons. It would be nice if some of these bounties were for assists/kills with a specific weapon but they are there. It has not been mentioned yet (as far as I am into the podcast), but there are actually more crucible bounties on a weekly basis than there are PVE bounties. In PVP there are the six daily bounties as well as five Quartermaster and five Shaxx bounties whereas in PVE there are the six daily bounties, three weekly Reef (Taken) bounties and three weekly COE bounties. There is the 1 floating Court of Oryx bounty but not a lot of people play CoO (from my times there) and it is really easy to get stuck on the "kill three exploding thrall" bounty so that you can not move on. It would be nice if Bungie evened this out so that both PVE and PVP players have the same number of bounties.
By the way I purposely did not include the gunsmith bounties since they seem to try to even out PVP and PVE usage over several weeks, though if you want to get picky I will admit that over time there seems to be one more PVE bounty than PVP over a course of three weeks.
Also, as a reaction to Vault space. Being a programmer who well understands memory usages and size. Bungie could easily create an "Archive" vault that could be stored with our cloud data (on their servers) which could hold our Y1 and Y2 weapons which we do not normally use in game and then give us a Kiosk to access these weapons if want to bring them back into the game. By storing them in this special vault it would then delete them from our characters possession so that they no longer impact the current vault space. This would easily fix the vault space issue for those of us that are weapon/armor hoarders by allowing us to keep what we worked for and yet get them out of the way for current game play.

I wanted to point out one thing about the balance vs. meta debate ... Luke Smith said they aren't trying for a ideal balance.
So one of the things that’s really good about having a live game that we’re able to update a bunch is that we have this freedom that allows us to balance and bring into style and bring out of style different weapons. We want to have different weapons that have different seasons and ages and, you know, ‘This was the time when X was really powerful.’ When the game shipped, October last year, the Regime, SUROS. Now SUROS is but a memory. So I think that a bunch of weapons are on their own journey, and they’re all gonna get their time in the sun.
