Dark guardians
A long time ago a strange exo woman gave you her rifle. But the question is. Is she alone if not are they friendly.. there's another side of the story we haven't seen. The dark guardians. from beyond the dark comes the dark guardians wielding abilitys not heard of and weapons that look filmilar but are darker in nature.
Should Bungie deem this story worthy I have the rest of if and everything being writen and figured out.. help me out fellow guardians and make this post known to Bungie and get us more story and lore

4 RespostasShe did say "I was not forged in light." But what if she was alive during the collapse and as she was dying during it was put in an Exo body? The only problem with her being a "Dark Guardian" is well....why would she help us? Wouldn't we above anything else be her enemy?

It is said that the exo stranger wasn't forged in light. She just could've iced her exo body, awoke now and had to fight. Or something like that, idk

I think the story may eventually go down this path. Maybe not in destiny 2 but if destiny were to last 10 years then this wouldn't be a bad path to follow. The darkness seems like a never ending force and maybe to destroy it we'll have to fight fire with fire.

21 Respostas-if the exo wasn't friendly she would not aid you to HELP the traveller.... -the exo spoke of enemies yet unknown, i THINK she will come back in destiny 2 when these "unknown" enemies appear... - the exo is not alone, like you already made clear as "dark guardians" but the question then remains, if they are not forged in light....who the hell forged them then? We might think: "it must be the darkness whom forged them then" which would be wrong and makes no sense at all since she was HELPING you AGAINST the travellers enemies(now we dont see cabal or other dark forces aiding the tower except for variks in the reef) - i think there's a 3rd party here next to the darkness and the light, but their goal is also to crush an (yet unknown) enemy of the dark(like she said there are enemies out there we do not know of yett) Destiny 2 MUST have a NEW enemy IF they contineu this lore.......we will have to wait aand see....remember in halo this was also done...the story wasn't quite clear untill reach came out(going back in time BEFORE the fall of reach, we can also*easteregg* see chief in cryo-sleep in one of the levels).....

1 ResponderI would enjoy them expanding in the Stranger's story, but I'm sure a lot of people would just say they are redoing the Taken by just giving new skins to old characters.

Look straight up, bungie doesn't care. We the guardians/ fans are much more open to such ideas. Just a thought, novelize it like they did with all the halo books. I know that I'd certainly like to read it.

I don't think that really fits the game. You could and should certainly have humans, exos and Awoken who have chosen to side with the darkness, like Dredgen Yor , but they would no longer be guardians at that point. They wouldn't have ghosts. Maybe something else.

6 RespostasGuardians of Darkness vs Guardians of Light. Sounds great but the AI has to be really up there and they have to be as merciless and brutal as the enemies in Area 51.

I don't have anything to contribute but I saw the words "Dark guardians" and got a image in my head. I thought of two guardians talking and one saying he could show the other where a dark guardian touched him on a dead fallen vandal. I'm sick in the head now...

3 RespostasI always wanted the a boss fight that's against a guardian or fireteam of them. I'd defs do the mountain top quest if Shaxx was a 1v1 final boss.
