Yea sure the lore doesnt back in you up in terms of dimensions If his soul was gone there would be no resdue of crotas soul... Like i said earlier... oryx both selves are dead (touch of malice)

He's not lost between dimensions. He spends most of his time in the Overworld/ascendant plane mapping Hive geometry and studying the connected throne-worlds.

That is where Toland spends much of his time, exploring the ascendant realm and the connections to the throne-worlds. Toland is not lost at all. Toland was also the one who guides players in TTK through the light ball we see.
