Petition to make Destiny run at 60fps
In this new gen with all these shooters running at 60fps such as Halo 5, Killzone Shadow Fall, Uncharted 4 multiplayer, Gears of War multiplayer, Rainbow Six: Siege, Titanfall, DOOM, Overwatch, and many others, why can't Destiny do this simple task? It's supposed to be "the next generation first person shooter" right? It said so on the case. How can it be next gen when it's lacking with it's abominable frame rate? The frame rate of Destiny is a reason that some people don't play it anymore because they're so used to other shooters running at 60fps so it's easier on the eyes. Going back to Destiny isn't fun because you have to readjust to the low frame rate which can throw a lot of people off, especially in Crucible. I've seen videos on Youtube showing what it would look like at 60fps and it looks so much better. I would do better in Crucible if it ran at 60fps and so would many because we wouldn't be disoriented. The game doesn't even have that level of texture and graphics detail that would make it hard to run at 60fps. I'm not saying it looks bad because it doesn't, I love the art style, but it's not exactly top tier if you catch my drift. It's not a bad thing. I like how it looks. This would be easy for Bungie to release a good sized patch that would run the game at 60fps and make it easier for gamers to adjust to next gen frame rates and have a better time

Im pretty sure that isnt happening anytime soon and just cause they dropped last gen dont me shit its still gonna be the same old destiny with just a couple new bells and whistles. Destiny 2 for sure tho if its not shame on bumgie for not pushing 60fps

Most likely destiny will be in 60 FPS sometime after rise of iron and or when destiny 2 comes out. They have already stated they are overhauling the graphics now that there dropping last gen consoles so you just gotta give them time to get it all in place. Disclaimer: i do not design games or code them so I have no clue on how long it takes, but I'm sure it takes a long time.

You should've just posted a poll instead. Also, 60 fps won't make you play better at crucible. It'll make things easier to see, especially fast moving things, but that would be true for everyone, so it'd still be up to your personal skill to do well in the crucible. Other than those two things, I completely agree, and I think Destiny NEEDS to be in 60 frames. I don't think it'd be as easy as you suggest for the current Destiny, but I think a Destiny sequel would be easy enough to optimize for 60 frames.

At this point in time only on PC, mabye the Scorpio or NEO in the future if they don't make everything 4K because it will still be 30fps then.

With last gen consoles getting the boot, 60fps will likely happen on it's own for Destiny 2. No petition needed.

Destiny 2 will probably run at 60 fps because Bungie FINALLY decided to leave legacy consoles behing.

Most likely Destiny 2 man. Don't forget that this game started on last gen consoles. 60fps was pretty much a pipedream for them.

6 RespostasYour eyes center only sees 24 frames per sec. Only some cells of the outer parts of the retina sees with a much higher frequency. 60 Hz is very demanding for the hatdware and not necessary. And whats the point to see 0.5 to 2 sec lag in 60 Hz? You will still change kills with people whom you killed ages before they killed you.Bumgie needs dedicated servers and private custom matches.
