Ok so basically you are removing the 2 biggest reasons that most of the community still play the game, in my opinion of course. This seems like it was not very well thought out. Why would you not just remove heavy weapons from these contests, force players to use skillful means to earn their place, instead of cancelling events that bring players to the table. Honestly I cannot believe that a bug this severe can be that hard to replicate and fix, especially since there is most likely evidence that will lead you directly to the programming flaw. Normally I don't voice my opinions about these kinds of things, but it definitely feels like you are punishing the masses for what a few dirt bag players did. Destiny is a great game, but it is starting to become more of a hassle than an enjoyable experience at this point. You guys are an amazing team of developers, but with the technology available to you these days, this should be something that can be resolved overnight. Hope to See Vance and Saladin again soon.
