PvP balance has been achieved.
Great job Bungie. With all those types of weapons and archetypes in the sandbox, I see everything being used in the Crucible.
Good job.
For the people that wanna attack me, search up my Gamertag and then my stats. 1.4 KD. You wanna put my opinion invalid, at least have a KD 0.3 higher than that.
Edit: It is as good as it gets. This game has 4 primary, 4 special and 2 heavy with all different kinds of Exotic ones that behave completely unique. Perfect balance is impossible, but there is balance now.

It just shows the very minuscule amount of fun you have, the point is to have fun not sweat like a nerd, and especially not to indicate who or who can't talk to you and object to your points on the Internet. 2 RespostasThe SBMM can get away forever. But yes, I'm actually seeing a variety of weapons being used. Different primaries besides Doctrine and Mida Different snipers beside 1K Heavies will still be Truth tbh for Trials lol

I agree, the are several options to get the job done. The problem with PvP lies in its' infrastructure. I am by no means good at PvP and find it strange to be on the high end of the spectrum one game to not being able to break even the next. Grenades don't work consistently since the patch. But the good news is we have weapon choices and I just saved 15% by switching to geico.

9 RespostasIncorrect, there is a huge imbalance in pvp and it comes from special weapons and their instant ttk. Trials is no fun at all now, I hate it. Ever since year 2 my kd has gone down and down. I don't think I've been killed by a primary weapon in trials for a long time. They really need to get people using primary weapons again, whilst specials are used as primaries balance cannot exist.

2 RespostasIt might be kinda balanced but weapons and abilities use to be way more powerful...hundreds of nerfs really dumbed the weapons n abilities down...we use to 2 shot kill, carry so much more ammo, etc. really slowed down the fast pace Pvp gameplay...still fun but I miss year 1 Pvp

3 RespostasIt is balanced, but everything feels so weak. Snipers feel slow and shorties are inconsistent , not to mention subclass changes. I wonder how the game would change if all subclasses were at their fullest potential

Perfect balance isn't impossible to get, it's a perk that's pretty common on guns.

It's definitely the most balanced it's ever been, but doctrine of passing is broken right now. Too much stagger for a minimum impact bullet hose. If it is going to burn health that fast, it shouldn't stagger nearly as much.

Ehh I still think most ARs are still very lack luster compared to other weapon types. Though it's nice seeing all the different handcannons that are viable now.

1 ResponderDon't you people learn by now? This is the honeymoon phase after every weapon balancing. Chances are the top tier weapons will arise, but we won't know for a little while longer.

1 ResponderIt's as good as it gets. This is absolutely correct. There are so many differences and variables that pure balance is impossible. That being said, while the top tier weapons are indeed still saturating the game, you can (and let me be clear, here) you CAN do well with ANY gorram gun you want to use. It's called learning your (YOUR, not the meta, YOUR) personal playstyle. Take responsibility for you sucking, don't blame "imbalance" or "the meta" for your inability to do anything with the gear you've got. P.S. I'm fully aware I'm rubbish in the Crucible. But, unlike many of the crybabies, I'm still having fun. Because it's a game. Your KDR is NOT going to be a resume booster, or get you a girlfriend. It is meaningless.

I would like to see a few more weapon archetypes get buffed. But other than that, yeah we are pretty close.

3 RespostasUntil I can use SUROS Regime with Focus Fire and win engagements when I shoot first EVERY TIME, then it'll be unbalanced. Primaries don't have equal ttk across the board and neither do all perks.
