Weapons in general, not just the exotics. If not for the Three of Coins, thats been the only way I even got year one weapons (outside of sheer purchase from Xur when available).

I find that if I do any particular activity more heavily than another, my reward quality declines. Spreading my playtime across each different pve & pvp activity has made made my playtime seem more rewarding in terms of drops. There's no real evidence this works other than anecdotal testimonials from people who try it. But it worked for me. I used to only play pve, and my rewards were shit. Then I started playing PvP more, and I got more/better rewards from both sides. Once I started playing mostly PvP my reward declined again. Where are you trying to get rewards from that you're seeing bad/no drops?

Yeah I see where you're coming from. Spreading out your eggs in more than one basket. I play everything, I don't favour any activity over another. I do all forms of strikes and raids because I enjoy them and do them sometimes for nostalgia and maybe for any specific weapons. I love PvP because it's never really dull and theres always thinking and strategy involved and all sorts of other aspects inside it. I enjoy the game as a whole really, so I tend to do everything. As I said earlier, I only really get drops because of ToC and thats just exotics so not all the weapons I would like. I also can't spend 3-5hours playing PvP, I eventually get tired of it and switch over to do a few raids or run a few strikes to mix it up

I've had the best luck at quality drops by ranking up factions, rather than literal engram drops, just something to think about as well

I've also had the best luck with fwc. I got 2 100% God roll pulse rifles back to back on my Titan But they seem to hate my hunter. 17 boot drops in 26 ranks. Lol
