Really? We're going to fight a dude that wants to be like Oryx? Is that the best they could come up with? Time to clean up the Awoken's mess once again? Is anyone else really tired of facing the Hive and Taken? They're really being overused here and it's not that enjoyable. It was at the start but now it feels like a chore not an adventure. What about the cabal? It'd be cool to see a real threat from them, a good main boss or story? Did the Vex really stop being a threat after Atheon? The House of Wolves was very underwhelming, Skolas is a chill guy but he didn't feel that intimidating, I didn't feel threatened. Does anyone else feel like this or am I just being a prick? I don't know I was really hoping for something DIFFERENT you know?

2 RespostasEditado por Diab3ticBatman: 3/27/2016 10:16:12 AMI think we are just finishing his army off. Like the king is dead, but that doesn't mean their army surrenders just to become extinct. In the alak-hul mission Eris says "many strive against the will of oryx. Something something many try to take his crown. Alak-hul is one such". I reckon that now that oryx is dead this Malok dude wants to take his place and we are going to end him, finish off the army Variks captured, and by the time we are finished the cabal big leagues will be in our solar system(they messaged the leaders remember?) and the next expansion will be out. Also in regards to prison Variks is a fallen so he's still technically darkness, and the awoken in the reef were not forged in light, so rounding them up and throwing them in the prison could be their way, and only means, of helping us get rid of them. That's why we have to enter and wipe them out. They did what they could for us by capturing them. Now all we have to do is defeat them. Once the taken are completely wiped out, we can then focus our efforts on the Cabal. That's what I figure anyways. The vex aren't done for but they aren't as big a threat since atheon and the gardens heart are destroyed. We saw them in the paradox mission, they were docile until we entered and disturbed them. We dealt a great blow to them and weakened them to where they aren't as big a deal anymore. The fallen have scattered with the exception to the house of kings, which have always been secret and nobody knows much about. They profited off the other houses, but now most of the other houses are in dismay since skolas is dead, which leaves them in a bit of a bind. Sorry for my ramblings, but just my thoughts.

The name of this game should have been "The Hive".
-
Rumor is they will be adding an unannounced 4th race in the April Update: Sweepbot
-
WE'VE WOKEN THE HIVE
-
In the Prison, we see Hive and Taken when they fight the Taken Knight. Maybe if we fight a Taken Cabal, there will be Taken and Cabal in the room? I think that would be cool, because I always enjoyed the three/four way fights.

6 RespostasI want them to create a gamemode similar to POE but instead you are at the walls of the last city on earth and you must protect the city from forces of evil
-
2 RespostasYes, I'm tired of the Hive and the Taken too. The new PoE should hold my attention for about 4 weeks I guess. Depending on whether or not those point totals apply to all characters at once or if you can do each one separately like the raids. If the points apply to all 3, it will be a hellacious grind to get all 3 to 335.
-
It's an update to the taken King dlc. Not new story content
-
2 RespostasI really hope destiny 2 is just titled "wait we forgot about the cabal oh god"
-
3 RespostasDude the hive are like a real good STD that you can't get rid of no matter hard you try.
-
Cabal Never wanted to fight us !!!! The Vex gave them a choice fhuck with us or fhuck with the humans... Well They made up their minds and look at them now... Fhucking hobos with guns
-
4 RespostasAt least they are not all guys in beanies named Alex.
-
Man it's just the first game people, relax. I know I personally want an all out system invasion by the cabal, like total war type shit or at least something similar but I'm cool with being patient and letting things play its course
-
2 RespostasLoll anyone that played halo (and I'll bet there's allot here in these forums) fought the same enemies for 5 games (yes 5. halo 1,2,3, odst and reach) and we got along just fine. And all those games didn't have pve dlc's to keep us playing 2yrs till the next game came out. Just saying. I get some people really love this game and just want more content. I get it, I do too. But everyone just needs to have a little patience. And if destiny is the first franchise game you've ever played, you have no room to talk cause you have no XP and nothing to compare it to.

5 RespostasIt's an update. Not a DLC. They're introducing 1 or 2 new story missions and a new strike. They couldn't do a whole new campaign with that. They're wrapping up the taken saga neatly and then we will most likely see cabal or vex in the fall expansion.
-
4 RespostasWait how come ALL humans are working together. It doesn't make sense. I think Bungie should add a human foe.
-
2 RespostasWe're on a drip feed until Destiny 2. Fingers crossed, it's a brand new current gen game and not an expansion.
-
I'm really really -blam!-in tired of all the hive shit The vex are way cooler enemies Shit I think all the others are way cooler enemies
-
5 RespostasI admit that the hive/taken are getting boring. But this update is fairly small and it seems to be wrapping up the story. After we ended oryx in TTK, now we are finishing his armies and other possible threats. Wars don't always end by killing the king and this small update is a good place to finish it

1 ResponderPersonally the Hive/Taken are my favorite enemy race. Their lore and aesthetic are the most interesting.
-
1 ResponderLike any guardians thst die on good Friday can't be revived till easter Monday?
-
2 RespostasWell if you read the lore it would all make sense to you
-
1 ResponderYou're right. They should have given us one new cabal strike and new PoE cabal bosses and call it the cabal update. This is the epilogue to TTK, it's what every iteration of Destiny has needed and never received, it will tie up loose ends and if we're lucky maybe even give us a direct glimpse into the future of the game's story
-
1 ResponderNever felt threatened but you never beat him. Lol
-
4 RespostasThink of it this way, they tie up all their Hive related lose ends now in the wake of Oryx's death with this little update, and that means the next several big content release will be able to avoid the Hive. With what we know so far, the death of Malok will ensure that the Hive are more or less neutralized in the system. So unless they add something this update that changes that, we should see whatever the Vex have been up to, the Cabal invasion fleet arriving, and Variks' Kell of Kells plot progressing and possibly even coming to fruition before the next major hive expansion.
-
i mean they have to give us the hood of malok thats been in the armory since ttk was launched and was even renamed
