Explanation: The Defender melee has other perks. Quick reload when active, drops orbs, and continually recharges. If you do not like these perks, don't use the class. Use one in which the perks fit your style of play better.

Where in the practical world is getting those benefits on kill better than an overshield on hit. Please don't reproduce. Thank you.

I didn't say better. Of course, better is relative. If you are playing Defender, and you are playing PvP, I'm sorry for your melee but you need to figure it out. What I was saying, simple child, is that if its not working for you PvP, use another class/subclass.

Sorry bud if you don't understand you never will. When there is blatant unbalance in common conflict area it's a farse.
-
What you are saying sounds like this to me "Damn that sniper rifle for having more range than my shotgun" Or to be less dramatic "Damn Inward Lamp for firing quicker than my Colovances duty!" Well Colovance may shoot slower but it has greater impact, so if you prefer impact, chose Colovances. If you prefer Fire Rate, chose Inward Lamp. Don't be mad because you feel like it's unbalanced. Use the gun with the higher fire rate. There is a distinct difference between blatantly unbalanced and being useful in different situations. Creating orbs on melee in PvE games for teammates to rack up their supers is VERY helpful. And to someone who knows what they are doing, more useful than an extra hit overshield. And this is coming from someone who mained a Warlock and switched to a Titan. All six subclasses useful in different situations.

Defender isn't made for pvp They have two other subclasses which are built for Pvp
-
It's somewhat strong in crucible. Why not make it viable?
-
Thank you! Finally somebody that has sense!
-
But the other perks are useless in pvp.
-
And that's fine, the Titan has two other subclasses that are perfectly fit for PvP, use one of them. Or rather, if you don't like the Titan for PvP use, use another main class.

no titan grenade tracks around the map
-
Axion bolts don't track around the map (btw the topic is melee's). And I like the Titan Lightning grenade than any Voidwalker or Stormcaller grenade. I like the fusion grenade and the Magnetic grenade with its two explosions. I can also shoulder charge which no Warlock class has an equivocal ability. But again, it's about preference. If a tracking grenade is what you want, nothing is preventing you from creating a voidwalker or whichever Subclass has the skip grenade.
-
I got chased around the map by axion bolts but no they don't track
-
Please, I was trying to have a bit more of an analytic conversation. Your exaggerations are counterproductive. Yes, they track. Around the map? Negative.
-
Not exaggerating it's true they chase me around the map
