Log onto a computer and try to change your name. The option to change your display name can be found by visiting bungie.net via a web browser. Below are the steps to change you display name via a web browser.
1) go your settings
2) then click the "about me" section located on the left side of the screen.
In regards on how often you can change your name.

I changed my name to Adolphus Hitler like 6 months ago or something, it only started doing this today.
