So let's get this out of the way. I'm not salty nor am I calling for a nerf.
Okay since that's out of the way, sniping here takes no skill. You may (of course many of you) will say "it's totally skilled, jus adapt scrub!" Or try and bring up kd and of course I really won't give two shits.
Now I've noticed that snipers haven't been touched since day 1, yet there's now a problem with them now. Of course it was skillful compared to shotgunning *cough* I mean scrubgunning.
If you want to say sniping takes skill on here then you're delusional. It's simply point, aim, blap, then headshot. When compared to sniping in games where it factors in the bullet drop, leading your target, and zero in your scope.
That, ladies and scrubs takes skill if not a lot of skill. Of course I know many of you will disagree, say things that are not relevant to the topic, and of course try to rebuttal my statement.

3 Respostas
and zero in your scope.
Name one game where this is a thing. Also aim, then headshot? That easy? Well shit, guess your right. Sniping takes no skill. In fact, most games use the same no-skilled aim and shoot/headshot mechanic. This is why I only play Fallout 4 and build settlements. That's what the pros do.
-
I agree with you completely, any monkey can get a headshot with a sniper in destiny.
-
1 ResponderYou, sir, likely will accept little to no criticism about your ideas, nor do I believe you want any. You simply have some sort of need to garner attention and re-solidify your belief that you're better than other players--specifically those by which you are defeated with frequency: the sniper.

For the 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000... I want you kiddos to listen this time. YOU ARE POSTING AN OPINION WE CANT PROVE YOU WRONG!
-
Camping with mida is in same league of no skill as well
-
You said "prove me wrong" and then at the end you complained about people who will "rebuttal" your statement...you sound awfully salty to me

Dog carcass in alley this morning, tire tread on burst stomach. This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll whisper NERF

2 RespostasEditado por Shockwave 989: 1/20/2016 12:37:32 AMSo if headshotted that voidwalker in the air mid nova bomb with my no land beyond using bellicose cross map and saving my 5 teammates at heavy from dying that wasn't skill?
-
I've been sniping since I played destiny in the first look alpha. Before snipers had insane aim assist. So I guess I "have no skill"
-
Actually snipers were touched. They used to flinch less and have more aim assist prior to the taken king so it used to be easier to do. Also you say you simply have to aim, but isn't that the case with all weapons in destiny? Then how come not everyone is at the exact same skill level?
-
2 RespostasWhy don't we both go into a rumble match with snipers only? If I destroy you it's because I have more skill. If you destroy me (lol) it's because you have more skill. Either way, one of us is a more skilled sniper... Get it now, mooncalf?
-
Sure. Aiming for a perfect headshot takes no skill.
-
It does Aim assist helps but you still have to swipe the scope to get a headshot So it takes some skill Shotguns on the other hand are different but they arent necessarily bad They are way overused and too easy to use Which makes everyone use it so it gets annoying but thats all Wish fusions were the way they used to be
-
Idc anymore more about if a gun takes skill or not. If i like using it then what do i care if you think it takes no skill. Besides this game isnt bloody battlefield. If i want to play battlefield ill play that. I dont know why you and your ilk keep trying to make destiny into another game
-
1 ResponderMaybe youre just a natural but remember there are all different types/ages of ppl playing Destiny. Imo snipers are the most difficult of the weapons to master. Shotguns take just a tiny bit more skill than a rocket launcher.
-
How would you know? You're trash?
-
2 RespostasTakes no skill huh? Snipers are the exact same now as they were a couple months ago in the shotgun/pulse meta. Back then it was shotty scrub gun. Snipers actually take skill to use....that's what all you people said then. And now snipers take no skill to use just 2months later? They haven't changed in the slightest since then.
-
You have to hit a headshot for a OHKO. If you hit body you must waste another shot.
-
"Cough* I mean scrubgunning". Dude you have a shotgun on every single one of your classes

They greatly lowered aim assist and the amount flinch affects you while you are ads. And sniping does take practice anyone who really snipes knows that
-
Yeh guns take no skill...if you don't run around trying to bash ppl with your sword hilt then your a scrub. Stay tuned for more rules and judgements on how you choose to spend your free time playing a game.
-
5 RespostasCan someone tell me what amount of skill it takes to blink and slide around the map with a shotgun? Because the way I see it, shooting someone in the chest point blank is 10x easier than headshots on a sniper. Anything else you'd like proved op?
-
It does take skill I suck at sniping. Miss shots all the time. This aim assist is a myth I miss so many head shots. I swear the dot is on the head and it ends up being a body shot. Then boom I'm dead.

That's how you get your skill with lots and lots of practice. I honestly don't know enough about Sniper rifles to call for any balance change but I certainly see a lot of them out their right now mostly in Trials. I occasionally have to use them in the PVE Raids etc, and they don't seem OP to me at all in the area.

No video game takes skill The end
