The era is 1775, ripe with pirates and buccaneers
The Caribbean, full of plantations and cities, is controlled by world powers like Britain and France

A wave cascades onto the shore, as you wash up onto it
Bruised and full of cuts, a lizard scurries away at the sight of you
Standing, you spy a few loads of equipment that survived the wreckage and a bottle of mead in the sand
A boom is heard from behind, as the remains of your ship sink I to the ocean, a ram shackle city sits on the horizon...

Baltimore leaned on the firm wood railing of his newly furnished ship: The Terror Absolute and The Vile Brood had been spliced, saved from the foul clutches of death and decay. The English bastards had done this. They took back their corvettes with fire and fury. But they lost, and they certainly paid a hefty price. The English were Cowards. They retreated. If they wanted Baltimore so badly, they should've gave it their all. Six brigs and three frigates, wasted. Both of his warships, totaled. It was only through diligence was he able to rebuild from the scraps he was left with. The French were Cowards. They left him in Port-au-Prince. What could've been more urgent than finding the key to the Ferryman's Chest? Certainly something of greater value, or at least he hoped. Love was trivial, and riches would be a byproduct of their endeavors. But he had no reason to hang in the shadows of their Man o' Wars. He had a galleon of his own, remnants of his peaceful past. Pirates were Cowards too. They swooped in like vultures after the battle to pick up their own treasures. Cannons, sails, sugar and rum. But they underestimated Baltimore and his men. They lost their ships too. Cowards. All of them. But not Baltimore. 28 broadside cannons, each with single, heavy, and grape shot to last a week's voyage. Four chase cannons with chainshot and an icebreaker ram in the front. Four pucker guns, forty fire barrels, and enough whale oil to set the bay around Nassau alight. The Alma Dolorosa Circles a shipwrecked schooner, awaiting the Ferryman to find himself new crew mates. Baltimore was no coward. He was ready to take matters into his own hands...
I summon thee, Dutchman.
