High impact pulse rifles: the new thorn
Two quick bursts and you're done. They replace one weapon with a very quick kill time with another.

good god thorn hasnt even been nerfed yet and already we got this guy whining about nerfing pulse rifles!!....stop........just stop!how many guns do they have to nerf to satisfy some people?

The thorn has ddamage over time which keeps your health from recharging i notice with the thorn i always atleast get an assist do to keeping enemys shield down longer

1 ResponderSo, what will the next weapon you get killed by and complain about be? If you haven't used a messenger/hopscotch type pulse rifle and are complaining about a two burst kill, you know nothing about how difficult landing all six shots can be. Granted, if you're a statue and just stand there and allow me to put two bursts into your skull, that's you're fault fault for being bad... it will be a quick death.

2 RespostasIf all guns killed in .73 seconds would you be happy or sad? There is always going to be a top tier pvp list. Long range messenger > thorn> tlw.. Close range tlw>thorn>messenger..... Yes there are more top tier guns but I'm tired of all these puddles. Flood might be from Halo, but Destiny has its own flood starting here.

3 RespostasHigh impact ones are getting nerfed. Against targets with high-armor, they will 3 shot instead of 2 shot, pushing their TTK up to around 1 second, which is on par with auto rifles now. So they will become a bit of a gamble, because you have to hope your opponent isn't running high/max armor.

Except for the high Impact pulse rifle have a longer time to kill than thorn. So its not really the same thing, they would have to increase to fire rate to make it match thorns time to kill. And before you say " what I'm saying is they will be the new thorn!", that logic is flawed. There will always be a weapon that is the beat option, what matters is if the time to kill is closer to the other weapons in its tier. No pulse rifle has a TTK of under .6 seconds. And thorn was a .56 TTK, which was simply too fast compared to other weapons.(not named last word)
