As long as they all draw from the same perk pool (namely: no Exotic perks, Raid perks, etc.), I'm fine with it. Otherwise we'll start to see everyone wearing the same cloaks/marks/bonds and we lose more of what little customization we already have.

I think there is zero customisation with class items already, my chars only ever wear their faction items anyway
