the grind was real...
3 toons to rank 5... countless bounties... spend 25k... cash in a ton of 200 glimmer consumables... spend it all again... farm my personal loot cave for an hour to spend another 10k... sell all my shards to the speaker and spend another 20k
both IB gear pieces for all three characters... all class items... both guns... 6 etheric light...
already had both shaders and emblems... but if my math serves me right... 36 thousand for each character... thats 108k!
crazy grind... but so worth it... the crazy games... come backs... terrible loses... lag... stompings (given and received)... comradery... jokes... rage quits... hate mail... intensity... heavy ammo droughts... learning new strats... recruiting strangers... making new friends...
i cant wait for the next iron banner

2 RespostasI did the same the last minute haha. Had a bowling a bowling tourney and couldn't play for 2 days but I somehow did it. I had a hell of a time completing the machine gun spree bounty...I would get the all the time and it wouldn't count! So frustrating!

2 RespostasI was part of the grind too. Fortunately I have over 1200+ ascendant and radiant material so buying things was not issue. I did get both pieces of armor for each character but I only bought the fusion rifle. Just couldn't rationalize the need for a non-elemental scout rifle or whatever it was. First time I took any character past level 3 and I took all 3 of mine to 5. Was worth it to me just for the Etheric light alone.

2 RespostasHunter rank 5 (took 3 days) Warlock rank 5 (took 3 or 4 hours) Titan starting tonight and hopefully can hit at least rank 3. Bought both armor for hunter and the fusion rifle. Two Felwinters drops, 2 matador drops, 2 HMG drops and my personal favorite one Radegasts drop. Has been a grind but as a solo player it was my only shot at etheric light since the first week of HoW. Trying to talk some friends into coming back to Destiny so I can at least experience trials one time.

5 on all three but just bought the item for hunter as well as the warlock. I played for the Etheric Light an bough all 6 as well. Cruised pretty quick with my 3rd(warlock) as I never even maxed my crucible marks. I really like the boosts on Sunday and Monday.

10 RespostasThis game has become more of a grind then ever . Trying to obtain etheric light is rediculous. Pvp is the only way get a generous amount. Pvp grind for PvE weapons. I haven't grind in a game this much since NES/SNES days. So little content to grind. This is more of a grind then when it was just a day one game. I'm glad elder scrolls is coming and that I picked up the witcher. Destiny is getting rediculous.

The grind was a lot more real last time around. Every item cost at least twice the glimmer and you couldn't cash in shards. So... much... exclusion... zone...

2 RespostasI just deleted my account for the third and final time. I shouldn't have paid for the season pass like I did. I mean what does all that work good for when you'll blow past it like it wasn't even there with the next expansion? ( I went from 29 to 33 in three days)
