Stop whining and play again scrub
Edit: it's come to my attention that the OP changed the theme of his thread to complaining about disconnects. It originally was asking bungie for his loot.
I wouldn't be so mean to someone with a legitimate complaint.

Do you remember how we used to be able to separate ourselves into two separate teams in the vault of glass atheon fight? Send three guys to the back of the room? Bungie stepped in and fixed it. If bungie implements this feature perfectly, which they will if real jackasses like the little bi+ch OP keep bringing it to their attention, think of the ramifications... Think! Joining games in progress isn't the issue. Shitty netcode and lack of dedicated servers for an online only game is the problem. If you're really that concerned about loosing the checkpoint exploit, then I'm going to have to use your own words and tell you to "play it again" and quit using other people's checkpoints as a crutch.

And FYI the idea of designated servers is a dated concept. I'll spare the lecture, but the future is in distributed systems. Where clients can act as server nodes, so the system can scale as each client also adds to server resources.

No. I'm just going to stop conversing with you about this because you're obviously speculating instead of being knowledgeable. Dedicated servers are waaaay better than what you mentioned due to the fact that they can be monitored and tweeks for optimal performance. P2P connections make it easy for lag switchers and other player caused glitches to exist in this game and the main reason so many error codes happen in this game.

You specifically said you don't want to lose the ability to join so you can join and get checkpoints. If that's the only thing you were worried about, then yes, you're using that as a crutch and not following your own advice of playing again. Getting booted from a match shouldn't happen. Ever. This game has it happen constantly and when it happens at the final part of a match, it's unacceptable. You being a troll on an issue that makes a lot of people shut their console off and stop playing this game is not helping anyone.

No I said I don't want to lose the ability to pass around check points. I would need to pass the checkpoint to my unintentionally departed comrades. I'm not going to have an argument with someone who puts words in my mouth. You need to assume less, stop whining, and play again. And just because I don't want to lose that ability, doesn't mean I'm [i]whining[/i] about it ;) If we got up to the 5th round and unexpectedly my bros get a code weasel and theree was no way for them to rejoin, I would call it a wash, and then restart the whole thing and soldier on. Why? Because I don't whine. I play again. You should too you pansy scrub.

I never said I don't play again. I do. All the time thanks to these stupid error codes that should NOT even be happening in an online only game. I just see where everyone else is coming from when they do "whine" about it. I just know their complaints are justified, unlike you who thinks this game is functioning 100% correctly.

Commenting on posts that are justified complaints in the manner that you comment is basically saying you feel there is no problem with the game. Unless you're going to give comments other than "quit whining and play again", you're comments are justifying those error codes existing and that's ridiculous.

I made a post last week about deleting ammo synths from inventory. It was a feature request. I have done activities in this game and gotten shafted, i.e. completing activities and getting no rewards, but the activity stays grayed in and there are no rewards for it on my dash. I don't complain. I wait til next week. It's just a game. The loot is a bunch of pixels. Let's be real here, do you think bungie is gonna give this guy his loot? :) Teleport him into his very own single-serve treasure room? They will give him the silent answer.. which is in effect my answer, but I typed it out for everyone.

No, but I would think they'd try and do something about the amount of disconnects that happen. It's gotten worse and worse since HoW dropped. Especially since ToO is all about your win streak and now you have people causing these disconnections on purpose and messing up everyone's progress. Bottom line, these kinds of issues should NOT be happening in an online only game. You might be able to brush it off, but spending time on this game just to have nothing to show for it isn't going over well with a ton of players right now. If it happened once or twice? Sure, I agree with your stance. But it is constant now.

That's not what the OP is asking for. I'd advise you to take your very unique post and start a new very unique thread. I'm sure it will be great. This thread is about some jakass that, I think, wants the ability to join at treasure room? Or he wants to get the loot he would have got, but without having to beat it again. Either way, this is a dead end thread :) So stop whining and play again
