so with the new queens bounty house of wolves micro DLC that just came out, there are bounties with the chests that you have 90 seconds to open after the bounty is complete. In these chests, you will find (amung other items) rare and legendary engrams. These engrams will not me recognized by the cryptarch, and in Bungies forums, and Bungies patch notes, while it does not explicitly say that these items will be part of DLC 2, it infers that they are, by telling you to hold onto them until the day that the new expansion arrives. So heres the question. If indeed, these engrams that i am finding (i have about 20 now and no legendaries -_-') are part of the second expansion, my question is, why have such an abundant amount of rare items exclusive to the second DLC? No offense bungie, but its pretty much a fact that all rare gear is inferior to the legendaries so it confuses me that you would throw in such a wildcard. is it possible these rare items will actually be something decent? or will they all turn into the preacher shotgun that were all used to? Personally, im just hoping these blues turn into legendaries or ascendant materials, because rare items are just useless. please reply, -Pyromancer tK-

You have to be level 26 to even get the bounties so why give out engrams for things no one will use? I realize lower level players can participate in the events and get loot from the chests, but it only gives green emblems if you're below 20. At least it did for me while I was trying to level up one of my characters.

5 RespostasI'm not a Bungie Employee, but since this is a public forum, I might answer as well. Simply said, many people still need rare gear to level up. Not everyone has full legendary gear. So this is why Bungie revamped many new rare items, to provide "lesser" players something new as well. Although they are DLC2, everyone will have access to them anyway.
