Hello people.
I like this game, and play it often.
I think the classes are for the most part well balanced.
But one move stands out. the shoulder charge.
IMO a one hit KO should not be readily available every five seconds. Good titan players keep the option to ram you up constantly. resulting in many fists on my screen.
Put a cooldown on it please. not long. just enough to stop the spamming
EDIT:
Disclaimer: i wrote this post after playing crucible on my titan for long stretch of matches. Perhaps it is the influx of xmas noobs that made it seem so jokingly overpowered.
EDIT:
zombie thread lol
edit 5/29:
love how this thread is resurrected once a month

1 ResponderAs a day-1 titan with 170k kills, I can confidently say that shoulder charge is fine as it is. Shoulder charge is a OHK ability but the factors that go into using it make it a fair ability. First off, you have to get a running start. You have to keep running and can't stop, or else the shoulder charge will go away. You are completely vulnerable while running. Second, shoulder charge is easy to counter. I can't tell you how many times I've been dropped instantly by a shotgun or fusion rifle RIGHT before I come in contact with them. Third, shoulder charge does have a type of cooldown. Normally, running for a few seconds will trigger the shoulder charge. You can do this 3-4 times. If you continuously keep using it like so, the 5th time will take upwards of 10 seconds to start the shoulder charge. Fourth, the shoulder charge contact itself is so laggy that it doesn't register 40% of the time. Hunters and warlocks can easily escape a shoulder charge by blinking instantly when they get hit. I can tell you that I have a good internet connection and run green 95% of the time, yet I've still had plenty of shoulder charge hits not register. Fifth, the amount of time it takes to recover from shoulder charging leaves you vulnerable. If you miss a shoulder charge, recovering from it takes anywhere from 2-3 seconds- enough time for an enemy to kill you right there.
