Adept gear is damn near exotic without being exotic. Outlining enemies while ADS and having the additional perk along with a solid set of other perks for pvp make some of the best primaries in the game. Throw in an exclusive area to explore in game that many have never been to (making it seem way cooler than it actually is) and a grimoire card for obtaining and you have an upset community because most can't get any of that stuff. The sad part is that the lighthouse is obtainable through developing your skill and finding a solid team that you work well with. The first team I went to the light house with are above average players but not anywhere close to the best. The issue is nobody wants to put in the time and dedication to develop as a team and insist that they need one or two amazing players that can just do the work for them with little effort. In come the streamers and paid carries, bringing more stigma that unless you are one of the best you need a carry. That's why many complain on the forums that it needs a fix. I honestly think peoples attitudes need a fix, not the game itself
