The classes are going the way of WoW, where the only real difference will be Supers and well fashion shows I really dislike even thinking about it

While I hate to do it, i have to defend bungo this time. WQ release was much smoother than all other DLCs. You could even play on release date. Also there are just few bugs compared to what players got before. Bungo is very very slow on repairing bugs which damage gameplay (like getting specific drop to actualy progress w quest) while they are very fast to destroy whatever made game fun (new exotic helmet for solar titans for example), but thats it.

people, listen up... he has a point... i NEVER remember an expansion or season release where a portion of the player base couldnt even launch the game or play due to totally fked up menus and black screens. not once... since they have been on their own, twice in a row! ALL of this.. and i do mean ALL, can be found and fixed BEFORE release by simply ATTEMPTING TO LAUNCH THE GAME and/or actually playing the game OUTSIDE of their own private servers. they literally do zero physical testing on anything, its all a "virus scan" like process where a program scans the files to ensure they arent corrupted. this does NOTHING for finding issues like our black screens or menus glitching as text instead of a menu. sure it can ensure the files are legit and non corrupted but doesnt help to see if your game will actually fire up as intended. seriously a 30sec double click to launch the game on supported OS/consoles would have found this issue well before release. play testing also helps as sure files are good but they dont work in game at all as intended. Bungie really has slacked hard in the quality assurance department since they split from Activision/Blizzard. is a PTR or closed invite only beta testing by the community really such a bad thing? and please dont say that would spoil the story because we already have community members datamining all the info well before its playable for the general public. so many of these issues could have been found and addressed before release if they only A) played the game, B) had some sort of community testing so we the players can do what we do and see if anything is broken or not working as intended. at the end of the day superficial bug fixes should never be the top priority even if they are easier and faster to fix. im sorry but a ghost in a cutscene displaying as upside down is NOT a pressing issue, its funny as hell but not what should be focused on. now people being unable to play the game and now participate in the day 1 raid race SHOULD be the top issue and should be fixed before taking the weekends off to relax. sorry yalls job aint done, its broke af and needs to be addressed and fixed before you get the weekend off to kick off your shoes and put your feet up. people have been watching twitter and the forums for any and all info but are left in the dark while yall take the weekend off to relax. thats some real BS.

Literally most of this is already being Addressed. Its coming in a Hotfix next week.

We are early week 2 Bug fixing are more complicated then flipping a switch .... Lots of fixed issues were known before WQ was out.... You have no idea what you are talking about and just come out as a spoiled kid

I'd compare blizzards response to allegations of "cube crawls" to Bungie's allegations of worshipping "the old guard" developers who worked on D1 with undeserved credit and toxic environments. Look at how pete parsons came right away to admit to the stories and say they're working on it. And look at the email that was Bobby Kottick who framed a female under him to basically say their allegations were false.

Okay I'm the first guy to criticize Bungie on their game decisions, but they are nowhere near as greedy or predatory (both to consumers and female employees) as Blizzard. You shouldn't let minor frustrations in an overall decent game make you make poor comparisons. A little incompetence does NOT equal literal criminal behavior.

It hasn’t even been a full two weeks, Christ almighty. It can take me several hours to figure out where the obvious error in a coding assignment is, I imagine fixing an issue in-game without breaking anything else is much more difficult.
