Sentinel has always been heavily underrated
I wonder if people realize now how good Sentinel is and always has been… especially that aimbot shield.

3 RepliesFunctionally, I always liked it. If you use it right it made a decent roaming super for adds or a decent boss super. Not the best at either but useful at both. But… I always hated the theme or aesthetic of it. Throwing a shield like captain America always seemed a bit… off. Not as “off” as throwing flaming hammers, but still not my favorite a aesthetic. Honestly. I prefer minimal use of magically materialized weapons in my supers. I’m not a fan of hammers, literal shields, bows, or giant swords. Seems like if we are a conduit of the light we should just be able to use it. Throwing it like orbs or empowering our fists

4 RepliesShhhhh don't let everyone know!!! On a serious note long before void 3.0 the void subclass on titans is very fun. Ursa furiosa and banner shield with magnetic or void wallnades was already purple boom everywhere. Synthocepts bubble and a shotgun with demolition? Unlimited overshield and nades. Heart of inmost light just goes well with anything . To be honest I didn't even worried about mods that much just used a few to melee the builds even more nasty .( But I will leave these, distribution, bomber/outreach depending what you want more and momentum transfer/impact induction) Since Void 3.0 came out I have no understanding of the concept "cooldown".

Been using sentinel shield paired with doom fang Pauldrons since day 1 , makes a great add clear with the exotic and pretty fun, only complaint I’ve ever had about it is the shield bash hit reg abs the supers melee hit reg.

Thats literally 2 full team wipes in just one super, it felt great. Its as you say, sentinel is extremely underrated. Players always focused too much on using the melee attack when the bread and butter comes from the aimbot shields. I have no idea why titans love the arc class so much, I know its great being able to yeet at players or spam light attack in the roaming one but sentinel is miles better. I loved the melee suppression from sentinel too, I destroyed so many supers because of that melee alone. Since I no longer have a titan I haven’t bothered to check the titan abilities, is the melee suppression shoulder charge still there?

1 ReplyI don’t play titan much, but sentinel is definitely lethal in PvP and certainly expect more shield throws to come my way this season lol
