6 RepliesThere’s only 3 possibilities. He’s coming back as a lightbearer. It’s a meta reference to the fact that King’s Fall will eventually be in Destiny 2. Or it’s complete BS.

2 RepliesI'm gonna go out on a limb and say that King's Fall isn't gonna come back. Cause isn't the quote "My brother Oryx yet lives" And the game was Two Lies and Two Truths. He doesn't live. She specifically says that you killed him in another one of the Altars. Which means that one was one of the lies. My guess is Crota or WotM. Crota makes the most sense considering the raid was all Hive and Hive are what got the changes this expansion. Light bearers in Crota's End makes a lot of sense design wise in my opinion. What with managing plates and who can still be off them to get the ghosts, etc. WotM just cause that was the second most requested after King's Fall from what I've seen

well considering what she said in her 2 truths of lies it's safe to assume KF is coming back, she doesn't have io mars and titan and we won't be moving world's any time soon

Hive God of Cunning/Trickery says one thing; believe the opposite. I still don’t believe she was trying to protect the Traveler at the end. Telling lies and manipulating people is what she does best.

2 truths and 2 lies. that’s most likely a lie to make us think, and works as a teaser for kings fall to return even when it could be a lie because it makes us think about that happening.

I saw it as well. My guess is that Kings Fall is going to be the returning raid Bungie mentioned.

Take anything she says with a grain of salt. Especially when she said before hand 2 truths 2 lies. All of it can still be lies.

We're getting King's Fall raid back this year, so I'm guessing they're writing it into the story somehow. Maybe Immaru will resurrect him, maybe the Traveller will. Maybe he never died, just his worm. Maybe we actually freed him. Maybe Kings Fall will happen in a Hive's Mindscape. We won't have to wait too long to find out I guess.

4 RepliesIt may not actually refer to Oryx even though he was called the Taken king.Oryx was gifted the power to create and command the Taken after communicating with the Deep/Darkness but he was not the first one to have that power.It could refer to the original master of the Taken meaning the Witness/Deep/Darkness.

Multiple dialogue regarding the witness, our destiny being outside of sol, oryx coming back, She took Mars, the witness took Mars, WE will have the power to take worlds etc etc She anticipated us killing her. This is our punishment 🤣 Can't lie though.. kinda hope she gets revived & actually becomes an ally.. but that would be too easy & too convenient wouldn't it? Especially with this "child of the darkness" on the way.

Or someone else will pick up the mantle and become the new taken king. Technically by sword logic, it should have been “us” (the player) but we turned it down. But it could be someone else: Mara Sov, Osiris, Eris, etc.
