Title of post is self explanatory.
Edit: Okay, didn’t expect this to blow up overnight but I really appreciate it everyone.
Would be nice if Bungie’s notice. Le sigh.

3 RepliesEdited by Xero: 3/2/2022 11:08:45 AMProbably due to how Twitter and Reddit are moderated vs here. Idk. But the flipside is on here, folks can (almost) say what is on their mind on the state of the game. Then again, when Bungie posts and gets met with "this game sucks/you're lying/you don't play test the game" every so often, I don't blame em. Besides, you're not going to tell Bungie where they can and can't post. Like how folks here don't want to be told how to play the game. The "customer service" industry sucks lol. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

8 RepliesIf you are a business trying to communicate, you actually communicate everywhere consistently. Bungie should post on Twitter and Reddit and here.
-
1 ReplyBungie uses twitter and reddit to communicate with the community due to the state of the forum, this is like the underworld of the company, to give you an example I can't even post in my native language due to the immense toxicity they have in that section, they just do what they can.
-
4 RepliesI mean, if we're being real the forums don't have many people, like at all. Something like twitter honestly makes way more sense.
-
3 RepliesTwitter has NSFW. The forum only has salt, pain, and lies. The winner is clear, lol.

What's the difference both sites are full of.........-cough-

Unfortunately at this point in time the official forums are so neglected that it has become part of the culture at Bungie to ignore these forums. Community managers pat themselves on the back far too much when the reality is that unless player feedback falls into the pre set parameters they will listen to, all other feedback is ignored. PvP lobby balancing and matchmaking has been terrible for the longest time and has never been addressed. Remember when the Dead Cliffs map was removed so Bungie could fix the spawn issues? It returned with no changes. No further comments from Bungie regarding this. Bungie hear what they want to hear. Recently DMG04 posted on Twitter regarding their line about “keep the conversation going” being more than an off hand comment. The fact he believes this is hilarious and shows the calibre (or lack thereof) of the people who supposedly manage the community. TL;DR : don’t expect anything from the demonstrably incapable Bungie staff who call themselves community managers.

4 RepliesEdited by NerdslayerNo1: 3/2/2022 3:09:02 AMi honestly have never understood the logic of using twitter to announce things like the entire audience is monitoring it. Like i never knew that was something i was expected to do untll D1. I've always. thought the game should have a page that's just news for news alerts like scheduled maintence, ending of events, promotions, charity etc. Also twitter is a so full of hate mongering and bad takes i find it hard to stomach for more than a few minutes.
-
Agree... All news and random info should be easily found/accessed from bungie.net Not everyone uses Twitter... its beyond toxic.
-
Lol not even Bungie is that dumb.
-
1 ReplyTwitter: nobody cares about the replies/comments Reddit: nobody cares about the message Forums: nobody cares about either
-
Nah this place sucks balls lmao
-
Why can't they use both? There's plenty of people who use twitter but not this forum, in fact I'd definitely say more people use twitter but not this forum than use this forum but not twitter. So no, I'd suggest actually that you're suggestion is a bad plan.
-
Absolutely!!! 👍

2 RepliesI have @bungiehelp bookmark which I check before I log on. I have a Twitter account for music production but I try to only use it when I have a track or mix to punt out. In an ideal world, they would mirror, but hey.. it is what it is.
-
Nobody wants to be here unless they are farming salt or trolling lol
-
There's an order of magnitude more people on Twitter getting their notifications than people refreshing the news feed here.
-
1 ReplyIf they don’t use the forums how will they see this to know they should use the forums?
-
Tbh, I'd rather talk to the twitter community about something serious than here. The known issues forum post is always there too for bugs, and that'll be way more detailed than what they post on twitter.
-
3 RepliesLol nah this place is just daycare for the cry babies. Just make a twitter account.

Edited by Fate: 3/2/2022 2:26:56 AMThey do once a week Fireteam finder post was most recent
