This behavior contribute to the cheating problem trials of osiris have.
Edit: it was so blatant in fireteam finder I actually thought it wasn’t a ban reason, then the question would be if bungie should actually do something about it, like rank placements, legal teams actually closing carries pages, twitch streamer “free carries” being banned, etc.
Edit2: Despite friends and family being not as shady, it can still be used as an excuse to avoid bans, so I think this is also part of the problem, probably the solution would be freelance only and ip locked queue.

1 ReplyThe Twitch carries are not paid carries. The fireteam section has always been spammed. It moves too fast for anyone to moderate it.

Being honest I think that bungie needs to eliminate the need for paid carries by stop trying to be a private club for the try hardest. There honestly should not be any part of the game that is restricted from any player who paid for the content. I know that's going to piss some people off and honestly that's a big part of the problem. A few years ago some moron at bungle said it was "absolutely intended" that most players would never go to the light house, never compete a raid. Since then bungle claims to be committed to ending a culture of toxic ableism. As long as you need someone to carry you to the light house or carry you on a raid, that's effectively the same as saying "we're equal access to all customers" because a person in a wheel chair can always ask someone to carry them up the stairs. Want to get rid of paid carries? I want to get rid of the concept of carrying. The very term it's self is ableist. The people with the highest skill should of course have the easiest access, but everyone should have access by one means or another. I don't care if it's slow and you have to go out of your way, it needs to be there and that player on reaching the top should not have others staring at them like they don't have an equal right to be there.

Edited by $hirtless Captain Kirk: 2/14/2022 9:18:57 PMWell, at what point do you draw the line? Doing carries on twitch etc. also leads to financial gain. IMO as long as you have all that going on, and allow it, they don't have much room to stop anyone else. The basic stance is "as long as it's broadcasted, and no OBVIOUS exchange of money is present, all good." As long as streamers are allowed to do it for some sort of capital, so should the average person.

3 RepliesThen Bungo should ban themselves for monetizing their DLC. Criminal....
-
Heres the honest truth. As long as d2 has a f2p element, and burner accounts can be easily made. They will NEVER stop cheaters, or carry adds in the lfg section. Its a lost cause. The ship has sailed. All they can do is try to slightly limit it.
-
10 RepliesSure. What's your solution?
-
17 RepliesNo, if I'm unable to play trials for a weekend and I ask my brother to play for me I'm gonna pay him for taking time out of his day to do it, that's not paying for a carry that's paying for a favour that just so happened to go flawless
-
1 ReplyLol there’s nothing u can do to prevent people from playing with each other.

6 RepliesBungie does ban plenty of players. We do not need a vote on that by reporting any illegal activity in-game via the report button helps catch them quicker. Anything outside of the game Bungie has their own legal team who deal with those kinds of sites.
If you suspect any form of cheating illegal activities you are advised to report them. This can be done either by using the in-game reporting system or via your last played matches found on your profile page or by using the reporting systems found here Reporting Cheaters Form
People are advertising their paid services On bungie forum. Shows how much bungie cares to do something about it
-
2 RepliesPaying someone to carry you in trials could be paying someone random online to go in your account and do this or you're paying a stack team to help you get to the end. This in itself is not cheating and should be no one's business. Bungie can't keep track of all of that and shouldn't need to. We shouldn't care about players who don't care about their own experiences. So long as they're not breaking the game to get things done, what do you care? Hacking the game is cheating. This should be what people need to focus on. The position however is overstated and people make hyperbolic arguments on how rampant it is. I play on PC. Back when everybody was complaining about cheating, I've only seen one person do so. It's not as rampant as other people like it to be.

So what! Anyone who pays to get something that they haven't the skills to get are not all of a sudden become a god. it took me ages to get the recluse the hard way. And when i did finally get it, I was still hopeless in crucible.

Tbh pvp is still gonna be junk if ya do that tho
-
6 RepliesImagine being so bad at arguably the easiest looter shooter around you have to pay to get a trials run or raid done must feel bad lmao
-
Nothing wrong with Carries. It’s free advertising for the Game. The problem with paid Carries is Proving it. Will never happen. Locked IPs, LoL will never happen.
-
I just don’t see how paying for a title can bring any type of pride. Why?
-
Carries are fine. Someone still has to legit play the game. They are likely handicapping themselves to carry someone. Saying it contributes to cheating is pure conjecture.

5 RepliesTwitch streamers have always been the factor that held back Destiny from being better than it is. Never seen a community of streamers trying so hard to humble brag with the entire purpose of their own growth and profit. There are no "free" carries. Streamers doing any sort of "help" in this game are literally the most fake human beings i have ever witnessed. If those "free" carries got banned aswell as recovs did, the Destiny 2 directory on twitch would be completely empty. All those kids would stop streaming D2. Wonder why. Service streamers only ruin games for regular players, suck money out of their viewers pockets and gain exposure while doing so. Disgusting and should be banned, yes. Streamers never did good things for this community. They always say that they "speak for the community" aswell. No they don't. They almost entirely have neckbeards who don't have a job in their streams as regular viewers who can play for 16 hours a day while they can do the same. That's what they represent. And then during community summits, they represent that niche audience and say "make game more grindy, my entire community wants more grind". Bungie listens, keeps timegating everything, fills everything with artificial boring and long grinds so their streamers and their neckbeards are happy. That's what streamers do for us.

The only way you can make less people do carries is to ban sites, that provides it, otherwise you can't really detect who is helping for free or for money, it's not possible to get rid of it, but it would decrease the numbers, but I would rather to play 3vs2 than 3vs3 versus good players

I think Bungie should 💩can PvP all together Problem Solved
-
Only because of trials. Just deactivate the finder for trials and everything is fine.

2 RepliesEdited by waverider666: 2/13/2022 9:40:42 PMNot just pvp… look at new pve activity on fireteam finder… paid carry websites all over. It’s pathetically sad and too easy to post. Need a level restriction or something… ETA; report how??? Notice there is no advertising paid carry in report options???
-
The yes's here our funny. Hellz no. If someone wants to help someone beat a raid or win matches so be it. Alot of babies here. I've carried so the bleep what.
-
14 RepliesEdited by BraddyBo: 2/13/2022 10:48:58 PMAdvertising paid carries/recovs within this app should definitely result in a ip/device ban but carries themselves are fine. When it comes to trials, I think it should become locked until reset after playing 100 games.
-
I think most of the player base who isint paying/being paid wouldn’t want something bad for the game to be happening. However if bungie cared they would have done something a long time ago. Your only hope is Sony cleaning up an ip they own. Let’s be real though Sony only bought bungie because they didn’t want Microsoft owning everything and bungie was at the top of the bargain bin.

1 ReplyEdited by Haters: 2/13/2022 6:47:43 AMLolol who would pay for a carry in a game like this. Good for those azns in the computer mines being whipped by the Chinese communist party until they meet their daily carry quota.
