I don't understand. Dude, you said you love experimenting with off meta builds.
And it's goin to be the golden time for that. No one knows what will be good, with all the "mixtures" that will come from weapons and gears.

This doesn’t promote unique builds though. Since abilities take longer to charge up now, people will only focus on making it charge faster. That’s not unique. That’s just boring. I like to gear a lot of my builds around abilities + weapons + exotic armor. Silence and Squall + Rat King + Bakris + 100 mobility was and is one of my go to off-META builds. The whole purpose of that build was to move around, go invisible, and be aggressive and surprise opponents. Now I’ll have to slow down a little more because my abilities won’t be there.

Did you not read the twab? Some ability will take longer but do more damage and some will take slower we got 2 examples of that.... We know the super tier list but have no ideas what it actually means The biggest chance are from ability and exotic that would give back energy these are getting 50% nerf(in pvp) Better ability should take longer ...that's something I cant believe took us so long to get .... Super Gaines being more active than passive is a great thing The changes are good to keep PvP healthy

I don’t mind the super changes. But abilities need to be available. Also, maybe I don’t want to use a regeneration exotics? As someone who loves to experiment with off-META builds, all those regen exotics will be META. There is no build-diversity after this update.

Ability need to be available? They still are...again stronger ability will have higher CD and weaker ability lower CD....how is this bad? Its the based of a skill/ability system

But what makes an ability strong or weak according to Bungie? Based on what data? Damage? Utility? Popularity? A lot of the abilities in game are for specific moments in PvP. So how does Bungie define which is strong or weak? For example, lets take Shoulder Charge for example. Is it popular? Yes. Why? It’s fun, makes Titans have more mobility, and it is a OHK. Where is it strongest? Close range. Where can it be best utilized? Movement in air, or on the ground. Best paired with a shotgun. Close range encounters and maps with short corridors. Where is it weakest? Distance. As well as relying on both players latency and connection (Sometimes you get the hit but no damage). Shoulder Charge only needed a few things done to it. Remove the tracking, and make if you use it without damaging an enemy (say for movement) the ability charge is used. But instead it no longer OHK. So why bother using it in the Crucible? This isn’t balance. This is a cheap fix.
