Edit: Looking at what Bungie did this last couple of month...
[Removed the Matrix Increased the RNG of not getting a chance of collecting certain items from Tess that you will end up with 3 times the amount of duplicates Reduced the drop rate for exotics that drop from Tess Reducing resources on how much you can acquire when dismantling items Reduced the drop rate for shaders when it comes to dismantling for shards and bright dust Created the Tribute Hall like Spider at a high cost, and when you do use the resources it only leaves you 2 options, using your Shards or bright dust. No engrams for this event coming up
This was a small list of what has actually taken place among other things for a full-priced game, and Tess is the only vendors in 2 years Bungie can take care of??? This is a cheap move on Bungie's part and shows how selfish this company actually is. Reading over a lot of the replies on this post that has nothing to do with... "You don't have to buy" "It's your fault you wasted your resources" "Who forced you to use your Bright dust" 'You kids come up with the dumbest things on this forum" "Cool story bro..." ... and other unnecessary replies that have shown it had nothing to do with what is actually taken place? it shows how many people on this forum just accept things and act like there is no issue and Bungie plays off of that. You guys make it way too easy for them that it's gotten worse with this game this last year. Hell, instead of Bungie actually showing respect and offer something without a price tag to it is too much to ask right? I mean, they are so broke that they need to "have" to pay attention to only Tess for 2 years right? That is what most of you are actually saying. How the hell do other companies offer so much more on an event that is supposed to be a thank you from Bungie for forking out more money than a lot of games? And some of you wonder why I post the way I do, you are the reason I do, the ones that Always making up excuses for this company instead of trying to encourage them to do their job. Edit 1. Just had to add, this nonsense has been happening since the first event was introduced to D2 and that is a fact and what did Bungie say for the 1 hundredth time, "we're sorry, Tess wasn't meant to be that way, we made a mistake" Edit: 2. Thank you, Bungie for the mute option, this way I don't have to read more than I need to on how some people make excuses for you. Or, the ones that constantly make a personal attack and try to make it about me even though it has nothing to do with me.

  • You should understand by now that Bungie and Bungie forum supporters are all just Bungie.

  •
You should understand by now that Bungie and Bungie forum supporters are all just Bungie.
Oh, I know Bungie lurks this forum and trolls people. I just like it when I catch them and call them out on it. It's funny how silent they go and never to be seen again 😂

  • So just out of curiosity.....why do so many people try and troll your posts after you blocked them? All you did was provide another well thought out post. You are not rude to anyone, nor do you troll the op as many people do. I find it rather baffling tbh. Anyways keep up the posts! It's nice to see not afraid to voice views and opinions that are not all up Bungies arse 😊

It makes some uncomfortable and they just want to look at it as if I'm just spreading hate so they can deal with it. I get more attention than most on the forum, to say the least 😂 The way I look at it is, how one presents themselves is how one will be treated. If they show respect I have no problem giving that same respect in return no matter who it is. It's really simple logic that a lot on this forum make it so hard for themselves. Oh, and I don't plan on changing who I am and how I post in spite of anyone that has a hard time with me being on this forum. Thanks for the reply 👍

  • Good post but it seems I may have been right about the backer who gave bungie money. It's really looking like a company like Tencant or Tencant themselves is backing bungie.

It is funny how many Mobile Game exploitive tactics have made their way into Destiny since that deal considering NetEase is a leading Chinese mobile game publisher. Well it would be funny if it wasn’t such a bummerZ
Exploitive tactics?
All of the tried and true systems put in place by game companies to turn their players into payers. If you’re really just ignorant about what I’m talking about you can watch this video. If you’re trying to pick a fight with me because you think that Bungie is a nice guy company who would never act unethically and take advantage of their players for money stop now before you embarrass yourself.

  • Sorry, but cosmetic items that can be earned in game is not exploitive and not anything like what mobile games do.

  •
Sorry, but cosmetic items that can be earned in game is not exploitive and not anything like what mobile games do.
See this is what I mean, this is why game companies easily scam money from players, ignorance and naivety.

  •
Except I’m not spending any money.
You’re excusing the dishonest and soon to be illegal business practices designed to exploit the players of a full price game instead of putting social pressure on the company to stop it. Doesn’t matter if YOURE spending money on micros or not.

  • Again, selling cosmetic items isn’t exploitive. Also no, it’s not going to be illegal anytime soon. The bill you’re thinking of excludes the sale of cosmetic items.

The bill you’re thinking of excludes the sale of cosmetic items.
It doesn’t matter if they are cosmetic or not. It’s the tactics they use to sell the cosmetic that are exploitation of their customers. The fact you don’t understand that just reveals ignorance of what’s actually happening. You should have watched the video and thought “have I ever seen this in Destiny”. Instead you think because you haven’t been victimized no one is a victim. Keep that head buried.

There’s a difference between ignorant and reasonable. Companies exist to make money, so yes the items you can purchase are going to be “desirable” but by no means does anything exploit the customer. There are no time out mechanics, no hidden charges, no shady deals/marketing. Everything you can buy is displayed exactly as you buy it. If you decide to buy an in game emote for real money, that’s your decision.
You either didn’t watch that video or don’t play destiny.
I made a prediction about you trying to pick a fight with me in my first reply and that played out as expected.

  •
Ah, you play destiny but use an alternate account for the forums. 👌🏻
No actually your ignorance is showing again. I have one account to play destiny on, and it is connected to my Bungie.net forum account. There is a bug with the app where even though I have my profile set to public not all users can see it. Some can not all. I reported it over a year ago, and they haven’t fixed it. Which is fine with me because the stats of my play have nothing to do with a topic like this. Hilariously enough I’ve played more D2 than you though. https://wastedondestiny.com/1_4611686018443834917,1_4611686018458880514

  •
You haven’t linked your accounts actually, no bug.
Actually I’ve been through this a ton of times with a bunch of scrubs who can’t argue a point trying to bring gameplay into it. My account is linked. It’s a bug. I posted about it on the forum over a year ago. It never got fixed.

Go to your settings and click account and linking. There you can link and unlink your accounts together. Seems you’re the ignorant one. People probably bring up gameplay because the way you speak about the game is almost like you’ve never played it. Comparable to speaking to a brick wall.
Gotta love how you have more hours than me and yet have significantly less completed. Hours don’t mean much.
I’ve had it linked through the app for years. 2) No they bring it up because they can’t argue the points of the discussion so they desperately search for it to attempt to discredit my points. Which is what you did too. What a shock! 3) “Significantly less completed”? I guess you mean raids, and I skip raids because D2 raids suck. I’m in the vast majority there. So blah blah blah, you’ve been proven wrong, it’s time to pack it in.
1) You’re just straight up wrong. I’ve had it linked through the app for years.
Clearly not, linked accounts all have a unique ID.
2) No they bring it up because they can’t argue the points of the discussion so they desperately search for it to attempt to discredit my points. Which is what you did too. You’re probably using that one website that shows what activities are the most populated and yes raids are less populated but that’s because they are not a repayable activity. You can’t exactly farm raid loot.

Put it in the user search and it pulls up my account. ✌️🤡.
