I’m sure their end game stuff isn’t as convoluted as D2 raids with boring/tedious mechanics.
And you know what?
That’s a great thing.

Vault is the best raid in destiny because even though it had its own mechanics at the time, vault was more of a gear check than anything. It was shorter than the new raids, easier to introduce friends to and much more satisfying. The more convoluted raiding gets in destiny the worse it feels.

For some of you. The rest of us will keep enjoying our challenging and fun raid experiences. Believe it or not, it's OK for people to like different things. And nobody said anyone HAS to do the raids, but hopefully Anthem is great and actually has some sort of challenge to it. Doubtful, based on matchmaking for everything and the footage I've seen, but here's hoping you guys love it for what it is.

Amen. Never played a raid, don’t have the desire to.

Cool, that's your choice to miss out on the best content in the game. But just because you don't want to do it, doesn't mean it shouldn't be there for those that do...when did more content and options for activities become a bad thing?

That’s fine if you want them and enjoy them. I’m just saying if a game is made without that stuff I’ll be happy. If they add it in later good for you. I enjoy Destiny immensely without doing raids.

I’ve done Leviathan, Eater of Worlds and up to the second phase of the boss of Spire of stars. I just don’t enjoy the mechanics. Really enjoyed Shattered Throne and Whisper (minus the time limit) though. Light on mechanics, good action and I even enjoyed the Whisper jumping puzzle (at least far more than any of the raid mechanics).

Forget Leviathan, Last Wish is great.

Did first encounter. It was ok.

The first encounter is the subjectively less fun than the rest. Se may think it's great but the rest of the raid is much better imo
