Did you play at least 7 Crimson Doubles matches for a ghost?
Just what the title says. Just seeing what % actually played the event at least enough for the ghost.

Thorn, Ice-breaker, TLW, Doctrine ...."eat shit" -category of weapons. Also Sols, the SBMM makes sure that I only get sweatys against me so I have started dropping my k/d on purpose for trials. It works beautifully.

I really liked crimson doubles to be honest. I played it on 2 of my characters on ps4 and i had a blast. I didn't have enough time to play on xbox one or else i would have. I really hope they do more stuff like that in the future to be honest. I just hope the rewards better. ;-)

I did Then I played more and must say it was the most fun I've had on destiny in a long time I was going to avoid the event entirely but helped 2 guys through the matches for their ghosts and a buddy of mine got on and we had a blast playing all night Saturday. Even got lucky and got both ghost shells. Now with that said I do think it was a super lazy event and would not have touched it if it was not for the guarantee of a 320 ghost. The rng is to brutal to pass up a guarantee like that. Just my 2€

Did not touch it and i will not support this stuff. BungieVision gets me for IB and since I have all weapons and gear available to this point unless there is something new, IB will come to an end for me.

1 ReplyI did but I [b][u]hated[/u][/b] every second of it. You know what ruined it for me? It wasn't the frustration of dying to Thorn over and over. It wasn't the guys who were sniping me with Icebreaker while I had no special. It wasn't the overpowered Firebolt nades. It wasn't the horrible melee hit detection. [i]Nope![/i] It was the [b]Skill Based Matchmaking.[/b] As advertised in the Weekly Update, this was suppose to be an event to play very lax in a casual setting. I whipped out QueenBreaker's Bow with a nice Auto Rifle only to be completely Destroyed by people [u]trying way harder than me to win. [/u] It was extremely frustrating to go into match after match of extreme sweat battles; waiting for the first person to make a mistake. Trials of Orisis didn't feel that sweaty. [b]It was awful[/b]. How a good player could play with their significant other was beyond me.

Nope. While I'm glad that Bungie recognized the problem with the ghost drop rate, and gave out "free" 320 ghosts, I just couldn't mount even a little motivation to logon for CD. Did you, Sols?

I'll just go with yes... nah, changed it to no. I didn't play for the Ghost, I was playing for the Legendary stuff. But those were all garbage, and so were the Nightfall Rewards... so much for delayed gratification.

All my clan members had alot of fun with it especially the ones that don't usually PvP because we could pair them up with ppl that do. I did make a post about how it had the fun sapped out of it from the beginning as ppl were looking at it like a ghost farming event due to the ghost/class item shortage. I know I was. And then the suicides started.......

I played 7 for the ghost while helping friends complete bounties. Otherwise I would not have completed 7. 2v2 is a fun mode but it would benefit from smaller map designs and private matches. Too much one-size-fits-all in crucible IMO.

I moved to the ps4 sols. So i battered the crap out of crimson doubles so i knew i would get the 320 drop. Its been four days today and i hit 309, completing the hard raid and challenge mode as a 299. Considering i have come from the xbox- and knowing those 320 ghosts are hard to come by- it made sense to batter doubles for a bit. I put the time in. Did you do it sols?
