I did but I hated every second of it.
You know what ruined it for me? It wasn't the frustration of dying to Thorn over and over. It wasn't the guys who were sniping me with Icebreaker while I had no special. It wasn't the overpowered Firebolt nades. It wasn't the horrible melee hit detection.
Nope! It was the Skill Based Matchmaking.
As advertised in the Weekly Update, this was suppose to be an event to play very lax in a casual setting. I whipped out QueenBreaker's Bow with a nice Auto Rifle only to be completely Destroyed by people trying way harder than me to win.
It was extremely frustrating to go into match after match of extreme sweat battles; waiting for the first person to make a mistake. Trials of Orisis didn't feel that sweaty. It was awful. How a good player could play with their significant other was beyond me.

It definitely didn't seem very casual. But It also didn't seem that sweaty to me, It was usually very one sided. We went back and forth between losing 0-5 or winning 5-0. One team was nearly always dominant, with very few close matches. That said, I though the game play itself was enjoyabe, I'd like to see more 2v2 in the future
