Farming majors for Chaperone
I'm up to the stage in the chaperone quest where I need to get shotgun kills. I hate pvp and I am crap at it so I am killing high ranking majors in pve
What's the best place to farm majors for this?
I have been doing the first part of Fears Embrace because the psions split so you can get about 8 or 9 level 40 majors (then wipe and repeat), but according to the app, this is only giving me 1 point progress and I need 500 point to complete this
Is there a better way to do this?
Edit: The 3 hive majors in the spawn area of the cosmodrome are not high enough level to count for this quest. I believe they have to be level 40 to count
A lot of people have suggested doing this in pvp. I cannot stand pvp and would rather remove my left testicle with a rusty razor blade
Thanks for the other suggestions. The main one seems to be to kill the ultra knight in regicide when it is the daily mission

1 ReplyI know it's far too late for this. But ffs guys, it's called information. THat's awesome the crucible does it faster. But people genuinely boycott crucible because it's awful. I'm doing the Chaperone for the second time because I finally switched to PS4 from xbox. I wanted to see options and people can't just stop repeating the obvious and offer data. Thats wicked retardo. But alright, Cancible it is.

1 ReplyIf you die in crucible it will NOT slow your progress so just do crucible. It only took me about 30 mins to an hour to finish

3 RepliesI would do eye of a gatelord and kill the gate lord then right after go to orbit. When I was doing the killing major part for the exotic sword each one counted as 5.

Hate to say this because I hate shotguns in pvp but...... Just do pvp its so much faster and easier than farming majors

Just do crucible it's like 10 kills.

4 RepliesJust put on universal remote and the conspiracy cancer and run around crucible for 2-3 games. 30 kills is all it takes

Building 5 on Mars. Run laps through the building, jump off the ledge at the top and run back inside. I did mine there and it took no time at all.

It would still be much easier, and more time efficient in pvp. They give you the best year 2 pvp shotty in conspiracy theory. It's much faster, trust me.

It was a while ago but I did mine in the first area of the Dreadnaught. So many yellow cabal spawn right in the middle of the Hull Breach. Not to mention if you have a wormsinger rune or a Skyburner deployment code, you can summon several more.

Works better on ultras go to the black garden kill the 2 ultras then wipe to start at the beginning and repeat said process

Goto the hive spawn of the earth...literally right when I spawn in go straight then down the steps

From 0% you need 34 kills in pvp with a shotgun. That's not hard at all. The good news is that your progress doesn't go back on this part

Kill the huge taken knight at the beginning of Regicide, then jump off the cliff, repeat as so till you're done

6 RepliesEarth Ptrol, when you spawn in look left and you'll see a little hit, down the stairs in the hit and you'll find 3 hive majors. Kill those leave, come back, kill again. There's a quicker way to get them to respawn but you'll have to look that up on YouTube, it can't really be explained easily without images.

2 Repliesi just did it by killing the Taken Knight at start of Regicide mission. used the Invective so i never ran out of ammo. kill him, then just let all the ads kill you. rinse and repeat. took about 15-20 minutes.
