Pre-8/13/15 weekly update poll: What do you want answered today?
Good evening fellow Guardians.
Just a simple poll today to see what people would like to hear about in the weekly update tomorrow. We're kind of in a holding pattern here on info and I'm hoping that we don't just get an fluffdate going over their plans to give us more info (via twitch schedule) as opposed to an actual update giving us some real information.

198 RepliesI can answer the top one before the BWU. Matchmaking for Endgame activities in the Taken King will work the same way as in the past. You will need to form your own Raid party to venture into King's Fall. Since I started as Community Manager the feedback to add optional matchmaking for end game or a LFG system integrated into the game has been constantly at the top of the forum. Thanks for sending a clear request from the community. I will take your feedback to the designers, but for now you will need to build your own Raiding parties. You have some time to plan ahead - go find a clan or make some friends on an LFG site. You will need a solid crew to tackle the biggest Raid we have ever created.

They remove sparrow use from dreadnaught, this will make it feel big because obviously if we walk cosmodrome from one end to another it will take time. But this is not i want, how deep it goes, what surprises it has, how much story we will get etc.And i will not believe if they say it's big.

3 RepliesFor me every one of it is important. Bungie doesn't have space limitations on weekly updates so they should answer every one of it. However we all know that will not happen because Bungie doesn't care about responding., they only care about creating hype so their sales will go up. Basically every guardian who is pre ordering Taken King is killing this game. In order to have a better Destiny , we all need to hang on to our pre orders and force Bungie to make the changes all gamers want.

Can you please make sure that you add 1st Person in TTK for all social areas as an option in the settings. It is a really immersive point of view and would be great for destiny's social areas like the tower, reef and lighthouse. While it's not an option, I really want an answer on the price of TTK. Not the $40 U.S. one, the exceptionally overpriced version on offer to me and others. In the rare instances where Bungie actually talks about this, they give vague responses and only refer to the U.S. version. Are these people so ignorant as to dismiss non-U.S. players and not even acknowledge us or the reason why we're so upset about it? This issue, quite frankly, makes me mad above all others. Of being utterly ignored by people who at the same time want your money, and not a small amount, either. I can't believe that with all these conventions and all the journalists and gamers who visit them, this issue has never been highlighted properly. I would've screamed it at them. The fact that Bungie has to defend this pricing, even for what is the cheaper U.S. variant, says it all really.

2 Replies@Cozmo: I'm more interested in a explanation of why no OMM, is Bungies philosophy? We've been hearing "It's not in our philosophy" for months now, not knowing exactly what is" Bungies Philosophy" (Some of us don't have the $400 to watch the GDC) I remember years ago when Bungies, huge triumph was inviting the matchmaking algorithm for Halo. Up to that point, if you wanted to play a MP shooter you had to sit in a lobby and wait for other players, or join a game and spectate until someone left. The automatic matchmaking, is one of the reasons console gaming started to crush PC games for a while. So I find it odd, that Bungie has done a 180 and given us something even worse then PC gaming.

1 ReplyI'd like some communications on the OMM or in game lfg. I think the gears lobby system is what they should base it on. But, we'll get some info on the ban hammer. Maybe some stats and graphs. Oh and yeah. A twitch schedule for the next month.

3 RepliesWell in reality none will be answered. They already announced that next week they're having a twitch stream so the BWU will be: "Hey we're back from Gamescom!" Some pictures and the Gjallarhorn cannon again. We're gonna have a twitch stream next week, here are the dates. Please look forward to this stream. People are getting Orangutan errors or whatever. 5 RepliesHow about their decision to completely change how we level up in Destiny. Honestly, this change should have been the game from the very beginning. Now, I feel like this is an attempt to fool players back into the game. "We know the grind was crucial for our guardians to make level so we are getting rid of it and going to a traditional style of RPG. That ought to be much more fun right?" HoW and TDB are prime examples why I'm not paying for something they should have had in the game from the beginning. The grind was meant to mask the games lack of deep content and story. The Taken King does [i]look[/i] like it will be a great game but understand no matter how hard they try to sell me this new expansion, this is the game Destiny should have been from day one and that idea is what they hyped and sold us in 2014.

6 RepliesI would imagine should this weekly update contain anything of substance it will be dates of future twitch reveals. Buutttttttt.... It will probably be a 3 paragraph overkill of their "great trip to Germany" and how DeeJ feels like the luckiest CM in the world. Which will then be followed by one short paragraph summarizing all the new info made available.
