How about their decision to completely change how we level up in Destiny. Honestly, this change should have been the game from the very beginning. Now, I feel like this is an attempt to fool players back into the game.
"We know the grind was crucial for our guardians to make level so we are getting rid of it and going to a traditional style of RPG. That ought to be much more fun right?"
HoW and TDB are prime examples why I'm not paying for something they should have had in the game from the beginning. The grind was meant to mask the games lack of deep content and story.
The Taken King does look like it will be a great game but understand no matter how hard they try to sell me this new expansion, this is the game Destiny should have been from day one and that idea is what they hyped and sold us in 2014.

Now, TTK looks like it will be what you were promised... but you're not buying it. You cunning bastard. You sure know how to punish yourself.

Never said I didn't like Destiny. What I am refering to is the reprogramming of how Destiny runs I.E. how one levels their guardians now compared to year one Destiny. The changes to the system comes too late for gamers like myself who enjoy playing RPGs. Maybe they should have thought of that before misleading their consumers. Think of Prison of Elders and The Vestian outpost. They are "one" place as PoE is below the outpost. The dreadnaught is also that same type of space station. I can wait the game out until they really add more to the game.

Edited by Dog_Of_War_1138: 8/15/2015 12:19:33 AMI apologize, it just seemed like you didn't like Destiny, from your comments. I still am baffled by your equivalent of logic. It seems like the more Destiny becomes like a traditional RPG, the happier it would make you, and the more you would want to play it.... yet, the fact that they are making the change is a strike against the game since it is "too late"? Out of curiosity... when did Bungie mislead us? When was Destiny advertised as an RPG? It was sold, as I recall, as a "shared-world massive online shooter with RPG elements." That's what we got. The "Light Level" mechanic was meant to make Destiny unique... but it didn't work out the way they hoped it would. Not everything works the way a game designer hopes it will. Not everything that works in the studio or in the Beta works once the game is out there live. I say kudos to Bungie for designing a whole new ship, rather than rearranging the deck chairs on one that's sinking. Also- you changed subjects, rather than admit your argument is irrational. To your point about whether the PoE and Outpost are the "same place"- what difference does it make? The Tower and the Cosmodrome are both on Earth... VoG is on Venus... Crota's End is on the Moon. The Dreadnought is promised to be the largest single location we've seen so far. I'm excited.

TL:DR, when you dismiss my opinion as irrational and illogical, I will make the logical choice to not agree with you and still say to you, I am glad that you are excited for it. Enjoy it, the examples start with, We are Bungie, we made the Halo Series what it is so you can trust us. That called implied sales tactic. They have history so buyers are going to trust that Bungie is going to make a great game. Vidocs, youtube videos, interviews, I can go on. All of this to lure players to a game they keep changing to draw new and different crowds. You sir are not messing with some stupid kid. Now be muted

You could have argued with me logically, but you withdrew. That's a surrender in my book.
