Vanguards should sell upgrade materials
Who else thinks the Vanguards should sell the upgrade materials for gear. Maybe the hunter Vangurad could sell like 50x Saphire wire for either marks or a commendation + glimmer. Same for the Warlock and Titan vanguards.

Just give me something to do with Commendations. Got like 50 of them.

Sure, why not. They should also BUY material for marks again. That was the single biggest bonehead move so far IMO.

Agreed. That way my Crucible commendations can come go use and don't have to grind out Roc's for a single armor upgrade.

I have thousands of that crap (for my warlock anyway). Why would I need to buy some?

The main point.. If the armor can be leveled up that fast, shouldn't the material to upgrade them be as plentiful to balance it. Either slow down the upgrade progression, or in someway introduce more class specific material to balance it. IE. Instead of 1-2 materials when dismantling... 2-4. This may be just a matter of leaving it alone, and being thankful you were lucky enough to obtain the armor so quickly. The part that gets me is when I'm able to upgrade multiple pieces, and be short a vast pile of class specific material.

Sapphire wire and the other 2 are so simple to get. If you've been playing for a while now you should have hundreds of it collected.
