Meh...everyone's obsessed with their level. If you don't want to grind, stop at 31 and play the game modes you enjoy. Do the raid when you and your buddies feel like doing the raid, and maybe eventually you get to 32. Or maybe not. It doesn't change much of anything. Do what's fun, don't do what's not fun. This is going to sounds worse than I meant it, but it seems like the only people complaining about being taken advantage of are the people with addictive personalities who struggle with self-control and are weirdly obsessive about arbitrary goals.
