The picture says everything. This is so annoying to read and I'm seeing TONS of pointless comments on videos geared towards some random person's friends than the video. Plus, a bunch of comments have two samples of subcomments which don't even make sense sometimes when there is 10 or more in there. [u]Smarter sorting:[/u] MAYBE I WANT TO SEE MORE ABOUT THE VIDEO. [u]Meaningful conversations:[/u] Okay yeah this cuts down on the massive amount of YouTube spam I don't want to read. I just hope I don't see two replies to the same comment for every threaded post. [u]In more places:[/u] But it isn't always relevant to the video then. Why can't they post it INSIDE the video with a small icon or text string attached? Why does it have to look so different? So I would love to see what people think of this as Google keeps changing YouTube (for the worse, IMO) and this bothers me greatly. On the plus side maybe they fixed the issue where a single comment in an old video with 800+ likes won't appear as the top comment because of how old the comment is when compared with new ones. That's just dumb.
