Why do people ask "why do people do X" when they already are reasonably aware of why people do things and simply wish to vent about things that annoy them? Do they think posing these observations in the form of slanted questions somehow makes them less masturbatory and pointless? Aren't these OPs really just useless blogposts that would work better as a response to a specific annoying user than an entire individual thread? What do you think?
