I disabled cross save a few months before Lightfall came out, as I was intending on changing Steam accounts. However this ultimately deleted all of my Steam characters and I quit the game after all my hard work was wiped out. I tried re-linking the original Steam account that held those characters, but nothing worked. Loading into the game showed it was a blank slate. Tried messing around with it again now that Final Shape is out, but still no luck. Is there any way to recover these characters? The characters date all the way back to Forsaken, possibly earlier, so not really keen on the idea of starting again after already doing so when changing from PS4 to PC, losing my Playstation progress as cross save was not a thing back then. I did use cross save at one point to play the game on Xbox, but the Xbox account also shows no characters exist.
