Shouldn't he be called Cayde 7?
Glad Cayde is back. Since his death is about when I checked out from keeping up with Destiny, it got my attention. If it is a new version of Cayde though, he should be called Cayde 7. Isn't that how its supposed to work?

In this scenario, it seems more like its Cayde-6 as a Lost soul or a Light Imbued Memory. My working theory is that there are some the traveler chose after death to act as its Gardner's. which makes me go back to the 'Bronze workers in the Garden". aka, hate where the story is going. To predictable.
