  • It’s balanced, sure, but when you compare it to literally any other subclass, it’s trash. You can’t beat any other supers, and since there’s a charge time, people can shotgun rush you, not to mention that handheld disappears right when you go to throw it, and kills you when you do.

Combined with blink, getting up close fast, and hitting with the 160 damaging melee ability away from you is quite effective, as it leaves people one shot. You absolutely can beat other supers. You just need to be faster, as other supers function. And nova warp is VERY fast with blink/dark blink (but for some odd reason, y'all want to use burst glide with it....no that makes you a target). Hhsn works very well when you BACK UP. You don't use it as an offensive kill tool. That's the problem you need to get past. You cannot and should not run around the map hhsning everyone. No. And it only kills you if you're right on top of them, which is fair as it IS a lethal one shot grenade.

Doorways and ledges kill me more than other players And I typically disorient myself with blink Plus the invisible cooldown that means I can’t blink when I need it most And the stupid hitbox glitch that means I can’t dodge anything with it Handheld takes longer to charge than a fusion rifle and if you use it defensively, they normally kill you before you can finish charging. [spoiler]i do love the melee, but the rest of the tree just isn’t good[/spoiler]

As I am now, if I know where a sniper is on let's say wormhaven, I know the distance I can travel with blink and roughly the amount of blinks it will take to close the gap and surprise them... without getting hit. Or, if a shotty warrior is coming, either teleport back or teleport straight up and drop right on top of them. I urge you to practice with it. Blink and top tree dawnblade are the warlocks best maneuvering techs. One for more passive dodge and somewhat can be used offensively, the other more offensive movement that can be used defensively. The invisible CD is mitigated with astrocyte verse. I almost exclusively run that. It's just like Icarus dash....don't spam it. Use it smartly. Yeah, hh does, but that's why you have to get the timing down just right. It's essentially an infinite bastion with a little more charge time. Practice with it and you'll get a feel for it. No, it's not the easiest class to use, but I'll tell you from experience it you can master it you are a damn TERROR in PvP.
