No the problem is BungIe aiming way beyond the consoles’ abilities. If you load up D1 you can be booted up and flying into a destination before D2 has even gotten to the character selection screen! Their optimisation team are useless

If you want any game to run well, then you should definitely play on pc.

If a game is designed to run on a console then it should run well on said console. Full stop. Just like anything you make or buy it should work.

Destiny started on console and has only been on PC for 1 year. Console is not the problem. Sub-par programming is the problem. Too much activity on screen for the console capabilities is the problem. Who designs what is displayed on the screen? BUNGIE. They could adjust the codeline so that more effects/enemies are on-screen at any one time for PC and less for console, but they did not. Instead the game is optimized for one 1 of 4 platforms on which it runs.

If you wanted higher framerate you would only be aloud like 2 enemies on screen at once thats how big the game is. Or you could just build a pc i build one a month ago for 600 pounds a bit more then what the ps5 will sell for and it runs 200fps on destiny 2

A $770 computer isn't comparable to a $250 one, which is what you'll usually buy a PS4 for nowadays. For what it sells for, the PS4 is capable. But it isn't fair to put them on even playing grounds considering how they're advertised.

yeah so you can buy a ps4 for 250 but the hardware is what 7 years old at this point. Thtas why its at a reduced price the hardware is dated even when it was made. pc is miles ahead when it comes to hardware. They are making such a big deal out of the fact the PS5 has ray tracing when pc has had it for years. Like consoles are far behind and dont age well. Thats why the framerate and load times are bad on destiny

I never said it didn't run better on PC. What I said was, it runs well on console for the price compared to what a computer of equal price would do.
