You like story quests but suck at shooting things? Not going to say, "get good," but maybe a FIRST PERSON SHOOTER game, isn't the best game for you to play. Perhaps instead of just throwing your hands up and quitting, or refusing to play a mode, you should watch some videos and learn how to play Gambit/Gambit Prime. And I do agree, there are many solo players that seem to be completely clueless as to how gambit works, or how to attempt to win. You don't have to get 15 motes before banking. If you are at red flashing health, holding onto 9 to 14 motes, you shouldn't run head strong into a group of enemies. Go in, anything above 5 and then retreat and bank. Or maybe just hang out near the bank and kill all the blockers. The matches I've seen that are super one sided often have people either only trying to bank 15, and dying before they can, or teams that don't understand the importance of keeping the bank free of blockers and have all their banked motes deleted. In theory, if you can beat a strike, you can do what is required to win a gambit match. Just kill stuff and bank motes. Most likely you will have 1 or 2 teammates willing and wanting to invade. And when your screen turns red, be aware that someone is coming to try and kill you. Don't just stay standing in the open shooting at a hive knight. Move yourself into cover, recover some health and be ready to kill the invader.
