In short, I'm really disappointed in season 6. I hate Gambit - I like story quests and I suck at shooting things, and after failing multiple times to complete a single Prime bounty I hate Gambit Prime ten fold (and any of you knobs who think that I should just 'get gud' can go screw a porcupine). There is nothing worse in the whole of D2 than being match-made with a bunch of people who are just as clueless as I am and ending every match with zero points. Let me reiterate that last part: ENDING EVERY MATCH WITH ZERO POINTS. To this day I have no idea what people find so entertaining about a game where someone comes into your match and ruins everyone's fun. I didn't think Gambit could get worse until season 6 blew those expectations out of the water. It's the perfect game for people who enjoy peeling their fingernails back to jab toothpicks into the soft fleshy undersides. It's honestly very hard to think of another game or mode that has had a more negative impact on my mood. At least I won't have to listen to Drifter drone on about how much my team "sucks," regardless of whether he's kidding or not. You turned an entire season into a job, and I quit.
Anyway, I'm sure people will be VERY happy to know that they will never find my useless ass on their Prime team (you're welcome everyone). This season is wasted on me and I'm never buying another season pass again - but you already have my money, Bungie, so I guess I'll see you again when season 7 comes around, for better or worse.

1 RispondiGambit Prime basics - kill adds - collect motes - bank motes at 5, 10, or 15 to summon a blocker on enemy side -every 25 motes banked the invasion portal opens -keep doing this until you bank 100 motes -100 summons primeval and 2 envoys -kill 2 envoys -don’t kill 3rd until you’ve killed an invader or your team believes it’s clear...who knows they might not invade. -after killing 3rd envoy, stand in the well of light it leaves behind to do extra damage to primeval. -if you are invaded at this point, bail from the well of light with your team and kill the invader -repeat until you destroy primeval You are no longer clueless. What else do you need help with?

I’m stuck in a loop of not being able to stand a chance in gambit with 1 fully notorious on the enemy side and not finding a random team for tier 3. I don’t even know how I got my 2 completions at this point
-
3 RisposteBuilding an entire season around 1 game mode that many people dislike was a collosal mistake imo.
-
3 RisposteSo you're the person that only deposits 1 mote on my team?
-
2 RispostePlay D2 instead.
Division 2. The real D2.
-
7 RisposteWhy can't you just play the reckoning? I domt understand why people feel forced into a game mode.
-
2 Risposte"All of you knobs that think I should just 'git gud' can go screw a porcupine." Is there a porcupine that's giving consent? I'm sure that's something some of us would like to try. *note* asking for a friend.
-
your game history shows one match that you lost. ONE and you deposited 38 motes.. not sure what you are going on about but, it certainly doesn't seem to match your game history. I reiterate, one prime match you have played and you lost one match and you deposited 38 motes....

1 RispondiCongratulations on your new found freedom. You will soon start having feelings of refreshment and release as if you just overcame a very unhealthy addiction. Then you will find these Forums are just as addicting and more fun than the game itself. Enjoy being free.

1 RispondiWhat kind of Prime bounty did you pick up?? Most of them seem pretty alright to work through imo

AGREEEEEEEEEEEED

2 RisposteModificato da Rebecca The Lion: 3/18/2019 9:22:24 PMI think you simply have extremely bad luck when it comes to the matchmaking, it also help to decide which role you are going to take in Prime. It's different for everybody I get that. While I myself collect, kill enemies and then bank my motes I find it no issue doing my own part. If you rely on the randoms you got matched together with you won't get far. Rely on your skill and if you feel like you can't take on an invader simply run and hide. Gambit and Prime isn't for everyone, I don't hate it but I don't love it either. Edit: Also you do know that there are bounties from the Drifter that isn't tied to the Gambit/Prime playlist?
-
6 RisposteIf you suck at shooting things why are you playing this game?
-
6 RisposteModificato da CAD1420Z: 3/18/2019 10:15:03 PMIf you think Gambit and Gambit Prime is bad, you'd absolutely hate Dark Souls 1-3 and Blood Borne. You don't get constantly invaded in those games, but when you do it's usually going to end up with you dead and any progress you might have made through the area reset to the last checkpoint. Edit: For those saying you aren't always able to be invaded or to play offline, I have four words for you in all cases your character is Human/embered: Non Player Character Invaders. In the special case of Dark Souls 2, they invade regardless of if you're Hollow or Human. And guess what? These invaders DO happen to know exactly where you are in the world and beeline for you immediately on spawn in.

1 RispondiI would be more than happy to play gambit with you. I'm not a god. I do fairly well though.
-
2 RisposteDefine gate keeping?! You don’t like it you only have to do maybe 5 total matches to fully upgrade your synth. Then you can play all the reckoning you want to grind for weapons. Armor means nothing to you because you won’t play prime anyway.
-
2 RisposteOne of the bounties the other day was to literally go punch 20 enemies... I'm not a fan of Gambit either but clearly you are being self-defeating. You do have to play a bit of Prime to fully unlock all the Reckoning tiers BUT, after that (I'm pretty sure), you can do PvE (maybe crucible for invader motes) bounties ONLY to slowly grind out the gear, if you want. The downside is that the gear is kind of pointless if you're not going to play Prime. "I" wouldn't have made a whole season of Gambit, but the season is what it is. Play it or don't, it's not the end of the world.
-
2 RisposteI agree. GP is Egc, but I hate the requirement to play it. It kinda better than Gambit....but not by much as it has major issue just like Gambit. One being ammo drops. One compliment? I really like that there's only one round. Another? Map size...kinda.

2 RisposteIm actualy decent in gambit but cant fuxking stand it. Horrible game desigh. Too many allowed invasions. MM is horrible for solos and i swear its desigh to punish solos. When i play with my clan stacked up we fuxking never run into a stacked team and i mean never ever. As soon as i play solo bamm im on solos vs stacked.

1 RispondiSo basically you're bitching about yourself being clueless and how the game needs to change to cater to you. k, entitlement much?
-
8 RisposteModificato da Riceboy: 3/18/2019 7:13:04 PMI’ve seen a lot of shitty people on these forums, and you’ve somehow managed to be one of the worst with seemingly no effort, aside from all the logical gymnastics you’re pulling off.
-
if you havent managed to complete a single prime bounty then you are doing something wrong, as you dont even have to win matches to get those done. read the description on the bounties to see what you need, may be just killing stuff, or killing blockers etc. they are do able, get back in there!!
-
14 RisposteSo because you’re shit at a game mode that makes the season bad? How about instead not picking up bounties you can’t do. The reaper and sentry bounties are super easy to do. I’m shit at gambit and have still completed plenty of the bounties. Furthermore unless you’re gonna play gambit you don’t actually need to bother with the reckoning as it just gives the armor specifically meant for gambit prime. The story of the dlc is also not exclusive to gambit or gambit prime so your complaint is sort of invalid.

Seems you'd fit right in

1 RispondiIf you want you can hop in prime with me, I'm not great but jve noticed things like that are a lot more fun with a whole team in the same party to have fun conversation while you play and just enjoy yourself. I'm terrible at Overwatch but when I play with my brothers it's a lot of fun because we just talk shit the whole time. Sure losing gets old, but it's not as bad when you have people to share the pain with, plus you get the chance to practice and potentially get better. Other than that I 100% agree with you on your views on season 6, major disappointment.

1 RispondiHonestly, Don't feel bad but at the same time don't be so fast to judge a game mode you don't know how to play yet. I have seen lots and lots of new gambit players running around shooting things in a match, collecting motes and have no idea to go deposit the motes in the bank. So, you're not alone in that. Just watch a few videos, learn the tactics and do's and don'ts and just have fun. Eventually you will get better and so will many others.
