It’s certainly harder without the heavy drops, but still doable. Run the Polaris with two others doing the same, and you’ll clear the mission. Too many people looking for handouts.

Got the gun but prefer DARCI. That gun is way more useful

You’re a little late to the Whisper party and as a result this is what can happen. No heavy makes for a different strat when burning down the 3 bosses. I’ve heard Polaris Lance is the way to go once your run out of heavy. I finished this quest 3 weeks ago and am glad to be done with it. The ship is cool.

I w been done with that for weeks, ship and all... o never even used the damn whisper because those bosses move to much. Get good scrub - coming from a 45 year old Dad.

1 RispondiIt has been confirmed a bug in the Whisper mission. They said they were investigating. Probably them not watching what they were doing during the update.

12 RisposteIt was programmed this way. When complaints surfaced, Bungie announced they were investigating. My arse! Ran it twice, confirmed no ammo, bought another game. After 4+ years there is zero reason for ammunition to be any ‘problem” in any Shooter. I play for fun not frustration. I have no rope left for Bungie. In time, some of you will stop making excuses for Bungie and bashing your fellow victims and wake up... Peace...

Ran heroic a few times yesterday. Not too bad actually. Grab a public event pole before loading up to ensure heavy. Ran nameless, Ikelos shotty and sleeper on arcstrider. Sleeper captains, wizards, snipers in 1st 2 rooms while alternating supers. Boss room clear all blights and head back to front of room. Everyone equip polaris and pick away at bosses!

6 RisposteGet your ass in the heroic version. Open a chest. Look at what you get. Then make the connection that utter lack of heavy MAY JUST be not intentional and it MAY JUST be that the Whisper quest is a bit buggy right now.

I’m sure it’s bugged but there’s also sure there’s issues with the fact that the game is scaling to a Forsaken sandbox that includes new armor perks and mods. In the end, we can only hope that update 2.0.1 fixes these issues.

1 RispondiMe and a buddy carried a 300 light level without no problem. It's a little difficult yea, but not impossible. There's literally no reason to curse Bungie's name for a bug they didn't intend on happening

So maybe wait until Forsaken launches or try to go at it without relying on heavy too much. Could be that a bug is messing with the heavy drops possibly.

Rally to a public event, do whisper mission. Heavy ammo is not an issue then

Bungie did say there would be some bugs. this is a shitty bug. - had the same issue last night, as I was on 76% for my Catalyst, and last mission for my ship. I improvised. - used the Whisper as power, we had 1 guy run snipers, 1 run, SMG and one Shotgun. - Covered all our Burns for the Rooms. - used our supers to mop up the rest. - Picked off the Bosses as best we could and finished them off with Scouts. - Use your Arc Supers. that's about it. got my Catalyst and ship last night. - wasn't impossible.

You do know, when you rally the flag, it gives you full super and full heavy right? It's your fault you used it on other enemies.

It’s not ruined but it is bugged. Use the jade rabbit or the PL. Hit a public event flag before you start. I did it today with jade rabbit first try. Think and use your resources to over come.
