Right now if you get a new weapon or piece of armor and it drops at the dreaded 280 or 290 mark you are looking at an arduous grind to level that item up. It's not fun. I propose that Xur carry and item that lets us empower our armor and weapons at least up to the 310 light point. Going above 310 should still be left up to raiding and chance but let us at least get close without having to grind our lives away.
