[/quote] I guess I'll just troll this Haha I've been reading some of the other stuff you've said and I agree with you in some things. I think intention is really important when it comes to whether something is mean spirited or criticism for improvement. I also think as human beings we communicate our intentions and POV poorly. Luke Smith, you, me and everyone are all guilty of this at some level. Luke Smith didn't intend for what he said to be taken the way he did, the real mistake was his intention wasn't communicated and left to listeners assumptions of what it sounded like the intention was. I guess my comment on this is its not enough to just disagree, but disagree in a way we communicate that our intent is to not offend but explain why we feel differently. Tl;dr don't communicate only to be understood, attempt to communicate so you can't be misunderstood.
