Sparrow/Spaceship Races!
Hey Guardians, I was driving through Mars when I thought, how cool would it be to have actual Sparrow and or Spaceship races!? That way, destiny has some new exciting content and spaceships are more than just eye candy! Players could race up to 12, across new parts of each planet or space competing for prizes. You could have quick matches for glimmer and engrams, or big rally tournaments for legendary or exotic gear. Just a thought, bump if you agree and stay classy San Diego 😉

Modificato da DJ1977: 2/8/2015 10:35:39 AMIt seems sparrow racing might have been part of the original concept for the game, but it was either removed entirely or will be sold to us in future content. The suggestion was/is also that there might have been a gambling system with sparrows and that is why xur sells upgrades for sparrows that mark color and why there are trick sparrows too. There's also more sparrows on the disc than we have access to right now according to some articles on the webs. Spaceship stuff was basically snuffed a while back when bungie/deej said that destiny was not going to be a space fighter game, but this too seems to have been a potential part of the original idea for the game. It would seem that the development team may have fallen apart from some of these kinds of conflicts...

They did the space combat in Reach, I don't know why they can't do it now.

I love the idea but for legendaries/exotics there would have to be challenging tournaments

I think they already confirmed sparrow races did they not? I could be wrong
