I live in America and hate it and this is why... 1. The stuff that is served to us in fast food restaurants (especially McDonalds) is illegal in the all of Europe, Asia, Australia, and most of South America and Africa, along with other things we find at the store. 2. Only 15% of children 13-18 were "functionally literate" in most states while the other 85% were "functionally illiterate", meaning that America is one of the lowest countries for literacy rates (excluding Africa of course). 3. All of the pressure is put on the teacher, not the student. In Europe, Australia, and especially Asia, the pressure is put on the student to pass, not the teacher's "teaching ability",meaning that they have more motivation to pass and exceed. 4. We are the second highest obesity rate (behind China) in the world (which is likely from what I explained in my first point). 5. We have the sixteenth lowest life expectancy rate (behind many African countries). 6. We are over 16 trillion dollars in debt and have no intention of paying them off. 7. With to parties (Democrat and Republican), the government is too busy butting heads to solve our problems. 8. We are surrounded by idiots who don't know what the hell they're doing.
