I'd like to be the last life form on this planet, roaming the barren wastes knowing that I'm the only living thing left. I'd look up at the sky every night and stare in awe at the boundless scale of the universe and it's self aware infinity. The earth would turn with me in silent, yet mutual understanding of what we both have in common, without each other we would hold no meaning. The clouds above would remain gray with nobody but me to hover over, a less than stellar audience unfit to fill them with the white and saturated joy that they hurried to in days of future's past.
