When my group of friends are trying to run missions/strikes/raids, there are two of us who cannot connect at the same time. If one of us tries to join while the other is present, it will either boot the current player back to orbit, or boot the player trying to join back to orbit as soon as the load screen is over. We have ensured that we are both on the DMZ of our respective routers, but can't find any further troubleshooting to do. This has only been an issue for the past month or so, as we used to be able to join each other to run the weekly/nightfall.
